I'm not suprised at all....when I was in georgetown I was talking to guys who said that they had been in the holding tank for almost a week waiting to be processed....the hold up was they were waiting for someone from Travis County to come pick them up and transfer them to Travis County, but Williamson County makes money by having them sit in there so they never called. They also said they were actually IN Travis County when they got pulled over by Williams County deputies......That place is shady....I expereinced it first hand.

i heard rummors of georgetown some that have proven to be some what true, i do rember one year our girls basketball team played the (temple) and they happend to draw a racoon tail at the back of the wild cat on there sign. After our girls team squashed them and dominated them, only one of there girls came up and shook our girls hands. Dont go speeding and don't stop and if ur black get in and out asap. And dpn't forget your tin foil hat!

I've heard and seen many crazy thing there...I lived there for 2 years when I was stationed at Ft.Hood.

ewwww ft hood i love our troups, but some of the kids at the local college were stationed there couldn't wait to get out

I think they are equal opportunity in that county. They give it to everybody equally.

killeen i have friends there i don't have anything agaisnt the ghetto but that place now looks run down and over ghetto temple is fine to grow up but after that jkasdhkkaskjsf. And waco.... To many crazies up there

See...EVERYTHING in Williamson County is probable cause to ticket or arrest you....they probably ticket you for driving too far BELOW the speed limit.....and everyone thought I was crazy when I would tell them about Williamson County and Georgetown...lol

That's freakin crazy man. So Field Asset Services comes in to get "Collateral"...when they found out it was a mistake ALL the property should have been returned. They can't come up with an answer to where the property is because it's probably spread out between their own homes. You can't tell me that when these types of things happen, they just drop things off at Goodwill. No way in the world this family should be paying for pillows for their family to sleep on.:mad:

I live in Wilco... I was "pulled over" in front of a friends house after I had finished parking in the driveway... stepped out of the car... was making my way towards my friends house when he turned on his lights and yelled for me to come back...
the cop steps out of his car... asks what was in my pockets showed him everything... still to this point I had no clue what was going on... then he says the reason I called you back here is because your car has to be all the way in the drive way... I look back at the car... all the tires are in the driveway... it was because my bumper was 2-3 inches over the line from where the driveway and the street meet...

I'm suprised you didnt get the "Handcuffed sitting on the curb while waiting for the K9 unit to show up" treatment....and after it's all said and done they give you no reason or a reason that makes no sense at all. I start sweating for no reason everytime I enter williamson county

I always travel to Willamson County (been visiting Round Rock for over 3 and a half years)--actually am going this weekend. Are these problems occur more often in Georgetown or Round Rock. I rarely stop in Georgetown but I always go to Round Rock (around the Stony Point HS area--sister lives there). There are cops aplenty and scattered throughout Round Rock.

I was so happy when my son moved out of Georgetown to Pflugerville. I have no reason to drive through there or Taylor again.
