I'm convinced.

Averaging over 11 yards a carry. I'm pretty impressed.

The Woodlands have two very solid tailbacks w/Burns... it is pretty nice to see the offense kick in. Montague gets 200+ yards tonight against Klein Collins Goodson @ 65.

QB Dillon Pound appears to be the QB we have been looking for. Good passes w/zip. Pretty accurate. Saw too many dropped passes tonight. WR's will have to block, run correct routes & stop dropping passes. Petty ugly tonight.

The Woodlands defense does it again.

Congards as Lufkin & Woodlands take the two playoff spots.

I agree. this kid definitely showed what he's all about tonight, and man is he good..

and of course, congrats to the woodlands!

I agree with your assessment on Montague, but totally disagree with you your assessment on Pound. I heard Pound didn’t do any better than the OBs before him. Same performance, same results. Hey, but if the Woodlands don’t want Parsons, we’ll take him and his dad.

You missed the part about dropped passes & incorrect routes. It would be nice to see all of the WR's block. We are too far into the season to be working on fundamentals.

Parson's is the future. We just need that spark right now & a QB who can scramble is a positive; especially against Lufkin. If Austin's arm was 100%, he would be there.

By the way, Coach Parson is the defensive coordinator. Need I say more. He's not going anywhere. The defense is why we are undefeated in district play.

NO NO! Dillon Pound should be the starter for sure!! He made some very good passes last night and throws the ball 10 times better then Parsons ever will. With #1 at RB and Pound at QB we have a good chance to improve our Offense!

#1 is a very good back. He reminds me of Warrick Dunn when he cuts. We can't run him the ball 6 times in a row though, how about some play action in there coach after 2 or 3 runs.

TWHS would be in a lot of trouble without #1. Heard he was an evacuee from the Astrodome.

He just hits the holes so much quicker than the others. TWHS really didn't move the ball when he was resting.

TWHS let a slow footed QB go for 130 yards or so to shut down Goodson which was waht everyone does. TWHS did a great job of taking out the feet of Goodson, real good tackers especially #8.

#1 is good but too small for D-1 RB. Maybe a specialist with that speed. I don't think anyone would take him over Goodson if they had a choice.

Duke - You're right, Pound is not your son. Most of us know who you are... There is no computer large enough to cover your 400+ lb body.

If this is what everybody does, it might just explain Klein's win-loss record.

I don't believe that. What I do believe is that Klein Collins has one hell of an offensive line & a pretty interesting offense.

Is scares me to think if The Woodlands had such an offensive line. Which should suggest again, that the defense won the game. Not to say our line is bad... it's pretty good. KC was capable of putting more points on the board. This game was critical for them to make the playoffs & it showed.

REQUEST -> Folks need to cut out the trash talk & stick to the subject. I would like to see what is in your brain vs. what is in your mouth. Be civil please!

KC did a good job using Goodson on the fake. Goodson looked like he was close to %100 also. They should have given him the ball at least 10 more times.

I agree, Goodson looked healed. Fact is the fullback that fumbled in the endzone for The Woodlands go ahead TD is the 4th one they have tried there this year. He was called up from JV 2 weeks ago. 2nd, the other slot backs cannot block, third, one of the recievers can't block without holding.

As for the line, you will only see Matt Allen at D-1 next year. Chris Burns is real good but lacks size. The Brown kid nneds to finish strong.

They probably played 3-4 sophs last night which bold well fro the future with the strong freshman class that is 10-2 this year.

Without that fumbled TD, I think we might have been in trouble!

#1 is the best running back I've seen this year including Goodsen.

At QB I think you go with the hot hand whom ever it is.

Pound runs the offense more smoothly and get rid of the ball quicker then Parsons. Parsons has shown he can lead in crunch time. Pound can see the field better. I think Pound being year old helps in the leadership area.

Turning point in the game came when Carpenter #8 stripped the ball from the RB and scored on the first play after KC stopped The Woodlands on the goal line. #8 is a baller period. The defense comes big again last night 3 stops in the red zone making that 9 times this season.

Mean Green, #8 is very good I agree... And I can tell from your recent post that you're obviously his biggest fan hmm... Their whole defense is very good. That's 2 TD's the defnese has come up with in 3 games. Thats huge.
