A player that is a stand out on a very good football team. Bell has NO defense, that's why he was the only one making plays and running people down. IMHO

worst highlight film I've ever seen, simply in terms of footage...highlight films need to be altered to highlight the player, ie. pause the tape before the play starts and somehow identify the player who the tape is about...otherwise the viewer has to rewind to see which one made the play. I hope you do this before you send it to any colleges...scouts don't have much time to waste. Let us know where you end up going.

Hey, hey this is not a Marching Band thread!! :D

Underated DB. I will be a bit more generous than Trinity Alum, but just a little bit.

You look to be an above average player on a mediocre team. Your best moves are the open field tackling. Most of the passes look to be very poorly thrown, but I still give you props for making the plays.

I gotta say that much like other folks have said here, one of the areas that "on the edge" recruits can do to improve their visibility and chances are with top notch highlight video.

What are your stats? Ht. Wt. 40time Vertical?

yeah i would rather have a band that didnt win anything but cared about the game and got the crowd team and everyone in the mood for the game

legit 4.5 , 4.2 shuttle, 36 inch vert.

im really a cornerback with my senior year being the first time to play the safety position

Don't be selfish people.

The band doesn't exist to make the football team happy. Those kids put a LOT of time into their show so they can compete, not so they can make the crowd happy.

Don't be so naive, I don't think it's asking to much of the band to have some school pride at the football games and make some noise for the football players. Haven't you ever seen a college game where the band is just really into showing all their school spirit? I have seen many a college game where this is the case. I can speak for Trinity's band and their unwavering support of the football team...they deserve credit for our state championship too. I can't speak for Bell's band, but apparently someone else can.

At the pep rally to celebrate the 05 state championship, I was extremely impressed that Coach Lineweaver presented championship medals to the band directors and sponsors of the cheerleaders, Trojan Men, and drill team. What a statement that was!

I understand and I agree that the bands should and do show support for the football team. However, to say their purpose is to support the football team is pure ignorance. The kids put in too much time to not get their own spotlight. And to say you are embarassed by a band that is in the finals of the state marching competition every year is disgusting..

Nobody said their only purpose was to support the football team, but if you HAVE to be there on Friday nights you might as well give it your all for four quarters. Perhaps then the football supporters in the stands won't view halftime so much as an opportunity to only take a break, but see what the band has been working on so hard. The band parents might do well to not vacate the stands after halftime too.

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. There still is alot of time left for this process..Keep an open mind and don't let the nay sayers get you down. I know you to be a quality young man on and off the field. By the way isn't there a blog about you shutting down one the top recievers in the area at the Nike camp.
