In the first half TWH held KC inside the 10 twice and again the D is carrying this team. KC offense pretty goos with some athletes but TWH is swarming. Both teams blocked a FG in the first half.

20-10 Close,Highlander Nation delivers again.

Again great D by TWH, scored another defensive TD. Although the stas won't always show it, this defense steps up when it needs a play and wins it again.

why can't KC give Goodson the damn ball. I have never seen a player so underutilized (if that is even a word). KC should have done better. Poor playcalling

That word works for me but I do live in East Texas.

Hard fought game and tough loss for KC. Soph. JV call-up coughed up the ball and gave THWS the go ahead score with fumble in the endzone. #1 must have had 70% of TWHS offense. He was quick.

Nice job Woodlands players BUT:

[B]What is it with your band. That was the most CLASSLESS act I have ever seen when your band director struck up the band during the injury to the KC QB.

I hope someone at THWS took notice and will at least inform the director that it was just wrong.

It was a student leading the band during the injury and their back was to the field....they couldn't here us yelling at them and a highstepper went over to tell them. It was too late and the damage was done....it was not to show disrespect..

Our band would NEVER do that on purpose! They stopped as soon as they were told. It was hard to see the guy who was injured. I didn't see him until KC side started booing and I was sitting at the top of the stands. They meant NO disrespect, just didn't see it until it was too late!

TWHS 20 KC 10
#1 Montague was awesome once again even though he was struggling at the end to breath! He worked/ran hard and got it done tonight!! He's really enjoyable to watch!!

I will apologize on behalf of the band.. things were tense for us, and in all honesty, I don't think any of us even saw this injury

although, there is no excuse for what happened, and if our director, or the student leading us, knew what he did he would feel awful.. we never intend to disrespect anyone and if we had known otherwise we would have acted completely different.

I am extremely sorry for this and I am positive that the director will be notified.. thank you for pointing it out so we can make sure it never happens again!

Thanks, I hope they didn't notice because even though we don't like TWHS, we respect TWHS and it was very noticable becasue they started playing after everyone quieted down and te trainers were out.

As a band member, I can assure you that we did not see the injury. The way the stands were set up, those of us who were closer to the field (including our drum majors and band directors). None of us noticed until the football players were kneeling, which was when we were cut off.

However, I will point out that we started to play before it quieted down, as you thought. Shout (the song we were playing) starts with a drum cadence which it seems you couldn't hear from your stands.
