Ok SV seems to be just getting by, they are 6-1, and the only loss I think was a semi-fluke. They let Mac get up 14-0 and just could not make up for it. They shut them down after the 14 were scored. SV is having trouble stopping a very mobile QB. However this will be fixed soon. They have some young LBers that will began to get a feel for it and start to play.
Now look at this. SV was closer than any team to beating the Dragons last year. They needed about 1 min. more in that game, and it would have happened in my mind. They held SLC to fewer points than anyone did. They also had the lowest margin between the two scores. SV even went into the half with the lead. Right now, based on the scores SV has put up it does not look like this could happen again. They have only had one blow out this year. Now look at this from last year. So far they are around were they were against the district last year. All I have to say is that 265 is just hard and there will not be blowouts. Some of these teams are even better than last year. A couple of these games were real close. Not much different from this year. Point in all of this is that 265 teams and SV were close last year, yet they still made it to state, and played a great game. Overlook SV if you want, but you can never count them out, not accourding to stats, and winning margin anyway.

sv will win state this year we have more talent then weve ever had and we just keep coming. im sick of people thinking were not as good as last year cause were not blowing teams out. this is 26 5a every one is good. these are play off type games wich makes us better when the play offs start. even though were not playing as good as we should were still winning so imagine if we play to our fuul potential.

I like the Rangers too, but you need to turn off your computer and pay more attention in your English class. :D just kidding

SV is very good, but Region 4 in both divisions seems like a real crapshoot right now.

Yea, thats what everyone said last year until the first half was up. I think it was suppose to be an average of 56-14. They can surprise you.

True....but they way people talk on this board you'd think they'd blow everyteam out 100-0.

Only have to win it by 1.

I think SV has a great shot at winning a title this year. But there was ONE thing wrong about your original post. The Judson-SV game last year was NOT CLOSE. Judson went up 30-0 in the first half, then laid off.

If my Rockets don't make the playoffs (and it does not look good) I will pull for SV. My parents live within walking distance from the school.

yes it was one heck of a game..i think they have a extemly good chance to make it to state(only possible powerhouses Katy and Clemens)And They might not even be in the same division as SV.but as always there will be a good team waiting for us.I think the coaching staff will make sure we take it all the way this year.

First round match-up with Schertz Clemens looks to be the biggest hurdle in SV getting to the finals.

SV won't win state this year...last year was the closest shot and it didn't happen. So no matter how close they get, it won't happen.

Laid off, no, didnt score anymore, yes. You and I both know that they came out the second half doing what they did the first, SV just made some halftime adjustments. It was 30-15 game, that is not a blowout. It was due to that first matchup against a powerhouse jitters that teams get. Just like when they played Westlake for the first time. They lost the first one due to a big early lead, and beat the crap out of them later in the season. Please dont say Judson laid off, cause if you were there you know it wasnt true. Fox was still in the game, and #1 (the WR) was still in the game.

Neither team will win this one, cause it is not going to happen. I dont know why this site even has it as a projection. Clemens will be D-1. SA southwest isnt going to get in the top 3.

This sites projected playoff brackets blow me away...I think there is a far better chance of Madison being DI than Reagan. What is the story with Clemens? All the other sites I look at have them DI.

It will all depend on if Reagan gets into the playoffs. If Reagan finds a way to get in they are D1. If not Madison should be the D1 rep. That is if Judson does not get in!

That's probably because they haven't updated their enrollments. The UIL released revised enrollments that have Clemens' number just over 1700 students. That's why all of their people were saying they'd be 4A in the next realignment. So, Seguin will likely be the D1 rep from 25-5A and Clemens and San Marcos are the D2 reps.
Projections are only meant so people can see things fall into place. Also, as I've said and 100 times and it also says this on the page, the projections are showing what it would look like right now...not three weeks from now.

Well I got it the 101st time! :) Some sites project out the balance of the season, my bad...
I was not aware of the revised enrollment numbers...do you have a link?
