I realize injuries are a part of the game and Ced has had his share, but the second Adrian Peterson is a better fit for the Bears than Benson. Wouldn't surprise me if Chicago deals Cedric for draft picks - and you can bet they secretly wish they had kept Thomas Jones.
I think Cedric would do well in Washington as a compliment to Portis, and the Skins love to deal with unproven vets.

I would love to see him in Tennessee, but I don't know what Tennessee could give up for him. They have too many wholes to fill so they need their draft picks. He would also provide a nice compliment to Barber in Dallas.

I'm sure Best Buy has some great deals after Christmas, but nothing's cheaper than just taking it from someone....
Oh, sorry, I thought the thread title was "Cedric Benson needs a flat-screen TV.":D

I almost said Dallas - I wonder if Dallas doesn't need a speed back as backup. Has Tyson Thompson fallen off the radar? Austin is doing a great job returning kicks - and TT is on the bench I guess.

Thompson just isn't NFL RB material. He's a situational back at best. I don't know that Dallas necessarily needs a "speed" back to compliment Barber (though it would sure be nice). I think they just need a back that will help carry the load. I know Cedric has said that he wants to be a "carry the load" type, but I think he would come to Dallas if given a shot.
If he does want to carry the load, a team like Cleveland, Oakland or maybe even Green Bay would be possibilities.

I could see Cedric with Ricky Williams... on a yoga mat, smokin' the biz! Cedric is an emotional sissy playing with the athletic qualities of a solid, if not potential Pro-Bowl'ish, football rb. Problem is... everyone in the Bears locker room knows he's a mental flake. (And many outside of it, too.)
Nope, Cedric is right where he needs to be. If they're willing to ride him, they should at least give him a solid QB (McNabb next year??) and see what type of combo they could have. If it doesn't work, Cedric is a solid split-time back with someone like Thomas (at Jets) or Rhodes (at Raiders).

The Bears should have paid Thomas Jones his due Jack. But, they certainly did well with the other Adrian.

If Jerry Jones deals for Cedric Benson I will murder him. That would be horrible.

Nothing will spark an offense like an injury prone criminal with discipline and emotional problems.

Skins are the Raiders of the NFC. I love to see lil Danny Boy's money float down the drain...
I still love that season they got bruce Smith and everybody. They still sucked. Because they are the Redskins...

If anyone other than Barber is the Cowboys RB next year, it will be a less successful season.

Depends what kind of room you're putting it in. Does it get a lot of sun or not?
