idk how many people have heard about them, but they all happened within the past 2 weeks in north richland hills, downtown ft worth, and dallas. there was a motive for the ft worth shooting, but no motive for the NRH and Dallas shootings. the man rings the doorbell, shoots the one who answers, and gets in a car and drives off. my parents told me not to answer the door if the doorbell rang and i wasnt expecting anybody. nobody was home except for AE, and 45 minutes ago the doorbell rang, and it was not daddy coming home from work or mommy coming home from the store, i know because i called them both. i wasnt expecting anyone either, so i posted by the stairs with a gun in hand. ill be honest, i was about to piss myself from excitement and fear mixed together:eek:

never heard of such a stunt, but it sounds like this nut case needs some justice,...pronto.
Fortunately for me, i have a window that allows me to see who's at my door b4 i choose to open it. If i don't see both hands from a stranger on the other side.. they might as well just carry on a conversation with my door mat. These days you never know what some hair brained ideas are going through peoples minds.
9 times out of 10 a crook has the upper hand at what ever he's going to do to you because he knows what his plan is and the unfortunate victims can only TRY to react. Your best option is to use your thinking cap and enough common sense to keep yourself clear of the b/s.
It's unfortunate, but outside my close friends & relatives, i find it difficult to put too much trust in anyone.

Never heard of it either, but that's probably because I don't keep up with local news too well. It sadly doesn't surprise me. Some people are just not right.
Glad that you or any of your family weren't harmed, and I hope they catch this dude soon.

That could be the case.
After Katrina, people including myself started noticing tennis shoes dangling from the overhead power & telephone lines. The kind where someone would take their shoes off and tie the laces together? Then swing the shoes in a way that would cause them to get caught in the lines.
Turns out it was gang members marking their territory. It took a year and a half to trace the MO back to New Orleans. The kids would take other kids shoes in some neighborhood and do it as a means to let the other kids know who's territory they were in. We had no idea it was common place in the New Orleans inner city wards.

I gotta snopes link for the Ding-Dong-Dead killings. There have been three incidents, all of them completely unrelated. The police have made arrests in two of the cases and only one of them appears to be random violence. Sleep easier, metroplex denizens:

The thing about the shoes and the laces and the telephone wires I'm pretty sure is right.
That's pretty much associated with gang territory.

"Real" gangs don't mark their territory like this. The streets know who is what and where.
15 year old kids that wear red and think they are bloods are the ones that do this. It's also used as a sign of drug territory

Well yeah. Obviously the "big boy" gangs don't do this as everyone already knows who they are.
But the small punkish gangs do it.
