Strength of schedule (sos)

I have read many posts regarding the strength of one district versus another. One team having a 'cup-cake schedule' vs a 'powerhouse schedule'. I thought I would investigate this and thanks to Jerry's Football Rankings, this website's Top 10 are now ranked below; in order of strength of schedule of games played so far this season, with North Shore having the 'strongest' sos and Spring West Field having the weakest sos. The sos scores are averages of opponents records over the games played this season. It is interesting to note that the 3 top ranked DFW teams have stronger sos compared to the East Texas teams, who are always quick to criticize the DFW team's supposedly 'cupcake opponents'

You picked the wrong rating from Jerry. I think the power rating average is a better barometer than the won-loss records.

Definitely a big miss information there. There is no way in hell North Shore has the toughest schedual. If anything they have one of the weakest scheduals in the entire state.
