I can get down with this trade...while I really liked Luke Scott and I feel like he has potential, getting Tejada should be a huge boost for our anemic offense.

Hopefully.

Thats a great trade for the Astros. That pretty much kicks Everett out the door. He was a horrible player offensively but a good player defensively. Tejada gives us a huge upgrade in both categories.

Man, I should've mentioned this yesterday, but it sure applies now. Some people said the 'stros would get a non-roided Tejada and sure enough he's on the Mitchell Report list.

Theres a reason the Orioles sold a former MVP for some tin cans and Luke Scott on the eve of the report. I figured this is what we'd be getting.

ok , Sportsworld 2008 Slorch( No conscience, just like the players, coaches, owners, and teams) says, "Who cares what he did in 2007, what can he do for us this season?"

P.S. can Tejada pitch?

That's probably the most disturbing part of this whole ordeal. No one gives a damn.

I don't think many people really give a crap as long as the player produces, and that includes coaches and ownership because no one piped up and brought this out in the open when it was rampant in the 90s.
