Katy and Northshore both looking pretty good. Maybe we do have a swing back to Houston dominance.
Two Houston teams
Two Metroplex teams
One West Texas team
Two SA teams
One Central texas team

Let's not worry about predictions NS Mustang. This team has been underestimated all year including us fans.

I picked it before we started bi-district (Trinity over NS in final). Both are still kicking. :)

I like North Shore's chances this year. I'd say Trinity, Plano and North Shore are all on pretty equal footing. I have no idea how Judson got this far. It's a great program but I didn't have them getting this far. For the record I picked Permian to win it all.

Seriously after Trinity demolished mojo, I decided Trinity looks to win out.
I'm still hopeful that North Shore pulls the upset though.

The Houston area is looking good this year with 4 area teams playing the Semi-Finals: Katy & North Shore in 5A and Dayton & Lamar Consolidated in 4A.
Keep it up!! :D

Ageed, I would love to see North Shore and Katy bring it home to Houston, then I would like to see a game between the two in out of district play next year. I have alot of respect for North Shore and appreciate the support they have shown on the board for my Katy team.

This is nothing new for my Rockets. We're always overlooked in this round. I guess it's time to get the can opener out.

It would still be nice to have one big 'red machine' caravan headed west 'from HOU' on I-10 to SA.

Depending on how you define the "Houston area", 4 teams could be sort of inevitable.

Plano and Trinity have been battle-tested, while North Shore hasn't. Judson blew 2 games they should've won, so it's not like they're an average 6-4 team. They know how to win in the playoffs and I still say they'll beat a 10-0 North Shore team.

I like how we all give opinions on what we hear or THINK. Has anybody seen the teams they give opinions on? If you have, good. If not, why talk?

Don't pay attention to lonny. He has never said anything good about NS or R3for that matter. We should all lie down and just give the title to judson every year without playing the games. After all, no one else ever plays any hard teams. Surely you know that.

Actually, this is why I have been staying off of most "smack" threads for the last couple of weeks. I have not seen Madison play, so in all fairness, I have nothing constructive to add regarding their team, or nothing to compare to. The teams left that I have seen are NS and Katy and I think any games they are in are going to be great.

I'm as fair as I can be. I'd say better things about Houston if somebody besides Katy made a habit of stepping up.

Love your history database, Lonny. But, that has nothing to do with what will be played this weekend. Anyway...I'll leave you alone. Why am I bothering? haha
