Both teams were involved with blow outs last friday night, both on diffrent ends though.

Coppell beat a horrible Grand Praire team 54-0 in a one sided battle scoring on 7 of there first 8 postions and Moody returned to his starting roll rushing for 124 yards and 4 TDs in the FIRST HALF of the game. they then pulled there starters at the half.

LD Bell got beat down by a bigger better Trinity team at Pennington 42-0..

both teams have had a rough start to the season, and both are trying to make that last 6-5A play-off spot which is still up for grabs...they both have been shut out by Euless Trinity and almost came up big against a good Irving MacArther team who sits at 7-0 on the season.

should be a good came to watch and the 6-5A game of the week...loser is out of the post-season

I'd have to agree. I think that we are most evenly matched with coppell, looking on paper. Although, the playoff implications, are kinda doubtful, considering that there are three undefeated teams atop the district. It would involve one of them losing out...and other teams winning out.

Bell plans to make the best of the rest of our season. It was a learning process throughout and we fought like hell, even if the scoreboard didnt always show it. Should be a good game

I have seen both play, and if Coppell doesn't completly run away with it I would be suprised. It seems as if Moody is starting to hit his stride agian, and I would have to agree with CC57 in that Coppell is one of the best teams with a bad record. They hung in there with SLC for over a quarter. I understand that Bell is in sort of a re-building year, and I like the way that Coppell can play if everything is clicking.

If Coppell plays the way they have the last three weeks then they will win this game by at lest 14. The biggest improvement has been on defensive. This team has come together and is now playing as a team and believing. If Trinity wins the rest of their games, and depending on who wins the MAC SGP game hopefully MAC, Coppell will be playing for the third playoff spot against SGP in week 10 if they beat Bell and then Irving High. This would give Coppell and SGP two loses and tie breaker for Coppell head to head with SGP.

Be sure to keep this post because im calling it, Moody will have a career day vs. Bell, and the Cowboys will get the win, but their shutout streak will end barely.

No team is mathmaticly out of the play offs in 6-5A except for Irving Nimtz and Grand Praire, one team will make the play-offs with two loses, in district...I hope Coppell is that team, I only wish I was here for the last three games...

CC57, it's a shame you won't be here next week to see your Coppell Cowboys
take it to Bell. Moody's going to have an excellent night running against Bell's defense.

Moodys out of his little slump, he'll run wild over LD Bell..I was hoping BHS06 would write a little write up on the game before I left...Oh well...

Coppell pretty easily. Bell isn't very good and Coppell's biggest crime is they can't come close to beating SLC.

Yes, Mauro will be playing.

I wont comment on all of the people thinking moody has a career day. I will believe in me and my brothers on the defense.

and We ARE mathmatically eliminated, because we have already played MAC, whom we lost to by 8 yards, SGP, who blew US out, and Trinity, so if we won out it would come down to a tie breaker, which we would automatically lose, because all of the top 3 teams have beaten us.

none of it matters any way. We have a goal for the rest of the season, and were taking it one game at a time.

i don't think that Bell is mathematicaly out of the playoffs -- but to get there, they would need to win out (Coppell, Nimitz, GP) -- mac would need to lose out (SGP, GP, Trinity) -- irving would need to win out (trinity, coppell, nimitz) -- and Bell, mac and irving would then finish in a 3-way tie for 3rd -- would the tie breaker be a coin toss?
