Next time you're at the HEB, pick up some Texas grapefruit or oranges. It's the best time of the year for Texas fruit, and in College Station at least, the oranges are 2X cheaper than their California counterparts. They taste better, too.

If I was living with the 'rents in the valley, I'd just get some from the backyard. As it is, HEB is the only option.
