Why is it that????

Why is it that people can talk smack about their team being great, unstoppable, unbeatable etc. but then when someone either plays them tough or beats them they say their team played horrible. Why can't you just admit that maybe your team was not all that you thought they were. They can still be a good to great team but maybe they finally met some real competition. Is it that hard to accept that the other team just was almost as good as your team on that one night and that your team gave it all they had just as usual but this time it didn't work. So if the game doesn't go to your liking you start blaming the kids for playing sorry and the coaches for coaching sorry. That is really sad that you have to resort to that type of thing. I think the kids and the coaches for the most part put in much more time on and off the field then what you realize and then you have the nerve to dog your team and say they were flat or played sloppy and dog the coaches too. Maybe they did all they could do but the other team caused them to look bad. I know mistakes can be made but I also know that there are other teams out there that will do what it takes to try and win a game and sometimes they throw the best teams out of sync. Enough of the excuses. I know my team is not unstobble or unbeatable and I will not make any excuses for how they play the game win or lose.

AMEN, I'm sick of people dogging on our teammates for their performance, they gave it their all but were outmatched. Sometimes though their heads are not in the game, maybe thinking about what happened earlier in the week, or thinking about their girlfriend and not the game. But unless the fans are out there playing the game as well then they should not come down hard on the players since their job is to cheer. I cheer for my team every week but I never come down on someone for their performance, it is't my place to do that. If the players on my team are anything like me then they are harder on themselves than any of the coaches, fans, or teammates could ever be. Mistakes will be made, but just let them play and enjoy watching them play.

I originaly thought a team like lufkin would beat heights 40-0, then we played #8 Cove and only lost by 15, so i was just wondering.

Don't try to jump in something you know nothing about. I know most people in here do not try to spell correctly and they sometimes use IM type spelling. But this guy just set himself up from the very beginning by posting a message on here that had nothing to do with the original topic and it was a shot at me and people who do not live in the city. Heck I make spelling errors all the time.
