I'm picking Air Force. Cal has more talent, but I'm counting on another lackluster effort from the Bears being in a bowl they don't like. I can't gripe about the location since this is the closest game to my house.

GO FALCONS!!!

I still think it is a shame that there are schools not getting to play in a bowl with better records than a 6-6 California team. Sure there may need to be a minimum wins stat, but how about a maximum losses stat. You already lost six times and you get to play in a bowl? :confused:

1. Bowls are out there to make money and sell seats.
2. Bowls want better TV ratings.
3. 6-6 BCS teams are usually better than 8-4 non-BCS teams.

Now saying all of that, it will please me greatly to give the Bears a beatdown!:D Ironically, the 2004 season that saw Tech embarrass Cal in the Holiday Bowl started with a Bear win in Colorado Springs.

I'll be mad if it turns out to be the 3rd time I've gone to a game in Fort Worth in the last 16 months to see a team of mine lose. I watched Tech and Air Force both lose at TCU last year. The Horny Toads get their chance to beat the other one in the Texas Bowl.
