You got it!! They are hitting on allcylinders right now. I don't think ANYBODY has enough to stop them. If the quarterback was doing this well early in the season, then they would be easily nationally ranked.

What about Reagan? I think they stand a decent chance, don't you guys? They face a tough opponent in Judson this week. But should they get through them, I don't see anyone else stopping Marcus Wright. And what if Judson wins. Who can bet against the crew from the Diamond J. Come on 265'ers. Lets seee some spirit!

I think it will be Trinity v.s. N.S. , I only seen trinity earlier loose on t.v. , although I thought they had the better team against Permian (even though they lost). N.S. will win easily if trinity don't have a "D" , but from what I've seen they have the size to play with the Shore. I'll be there to watch it in any event !!!!

Trinity looks poised to get the hardware again. After the way they made up for their loss by dismantling OP, I don't think anyone will get by them.
However, that's why they play the game. They'll still have to bring their A game every week until it's over.

Trinity will destroy North Shore. You can maintain your delusions until they meet, but in the end, resistance is futile.....
In all seriousness, though, Trinity is on a mission after being denied last year. They are firing on all cylinders and are downright scary. After watching them dismantle us Saturday, I honestly don't think anyone could stop them, short of heavy artillery and armored tanks..

Yeah, right..... a snowball's chance in ....

Having seen Trinity play the day after Thanksgiving and North Shore play this past Friday, I believe North Shore has the potential to be better if both teams play their best game.
Trinity of '07 does not look near as dominant as the past few years. The QB is not a consistent threat to make accurate passes.
As for the athlete question, anyone who believes Trinity has more "athletes" than North Shore just hasn't seen NS play this year. Their team is loaded with athleticism. Their achilles heel has always been a tendency to fold when they face a tough challenge. This past week, a good Cy-Fair team was dominated for the better part of 3 quarters.
I, for one, am rooting for North Shore to keep playing to their potential so the rest of the state can truly see how awesome the cream of Region 3 can be.

I might halfway believe you if you actually played more than 2 good teams this year. In those games you let up way too many points. And Trinity's QB is plenty accurate....maybe you should've seen the Permian game. Permian is the next best team in D1. If they would have won..they would've rolled everyone else, including North Shore. When it comes to North Shore their is a pattern every year......go undefeated in a weak district....lose in the playoffs. No disrespect just fact. But yes. Anything can happen.....A less talented Texas team beat USC.

Actually the 2003 NS Team is considered one of the best HS teams in recent years.
We don't know much about Houston teams agreed, I'll have a look when I get a chance later.
If we get by Bowie...a big IF...then I might contemplate thoughts of NS, but you too still have to take care of business, it's the 4th round, no patsies left on the table

Time to wake up from the dream son. You apparently don't know Trinity's potential. It is still being reached at a higher level each week.

North Shore is LOADED with talent this year, and is a well coached team. Coach Aymond and staff know how to motivate a team. They have size and speed. I think a championship game between Trinity and North Shore would be an epic encounter. These have to be the two biggest programs (as far as player size) in the country. If there are bigger teams at this level, I want to see them. I'm rooting hard for this match-up. North Shore tends to get hit with penalties and have lapses at times, so that's why I'd favor Trinity if they did meet.
Thanks, KT. These folks have their head in the sand if they truly believe Trinity has more talent or athleticism than North Shore.
And, as you know, I have no ties to either school. I just like to be a voice of reason. :D

just because your team couldnt stop them... doesnt mean nobody can do it.... they could win state for all we know... but... cmon now...
I don't know their numbers, but Hightower's O-line is huge. I remember a HUGE O-line from Arlington Lamar get manhandled by a very fast Aldine team in '91. That Arlington line had to average 310 or so and Aldine ate their lunch in the state game.

Like I said, maintain your delusions as long as you like, but they will be unstoppable...
Not so much a matter of what they did to us (though that was huge), but just watching them play - they are amazingly good, combined with a MASSIVE size.
The level of competition to just get out of R1 is too high for the rest of the state....Trinity is on a mission after being narrowly denied last year. They are playing at such a level that they will humiliate the rest of the field...

I can't vote on this because of where my heart is. But, being the true Las Vegan that I am, I would bet on North Shore. This has been a quiet year for them. I have not heard too much talk about them being favorites. They have flown under the radar. I personally believe that athletism wins over a good system most of the time at this level. If they are as loaded as some has suggested this year, if I had to put money on it, they would be the team I would bet on. But since they are not on the betting board at the Hilton or at MGM Grand, I'm with Judson first and then A. Bowie. Blood is thicker than polls. :D

like i stated in another thread.. have you seen any of the other title contenders play? if not.. then you are the only one with dilusions and your lovefest with trinity is quite amusing.... especially since you havent seen anyone else play
now if you are making these statements and have seen 3 maybe 4 of the rest of the title contenders play and are giving a solid opinion.. then that would be cool..... but all it is right now.. is that you guys got beat.. and now you are all over trinity.....
trinity may very well win the title...they have to be the favorites.. no doubt... but you are all over them like they are god...........

Do you have education problems? Well, you are from Houston. God is spelled with a big G, and "them" is plural. And I have family in Missouri City. I've seen Pearland, North Shore, Madison, Cy-everything, and Hightower all play this year. Yes you have to be talented to make it this far in the playoffs, but some regions have more of a challenge than others. It's hard to take anyone over region 1 this year.

Think what you like. A week ago I would have agreed with you. After witnessing them as two totally different teams twice this year, I just don't see another HS team playing like they are right now, even after watching Katy on TV....

I said before the play-offs started that it would be us and North Shore.
Of course Plano has two tough games to get there, but I picked NS to represent the south all along.
As far as a winner boy will be tough.
