Im proud of my Canes....everyone thought we were going to get woodsheded by Humble, and we won 14-13..then of course, the two headed rushing monster at Cy-Ridge, Shepard and Limpscomb, were going to run all over us like it was 1995 Nebraska vs Iowa St....I tried to tell you boys the the hurricanes have a good, now great defense.

To hold a team like CyRidge to 202 TOTAL yards, 70 of them coming on two plays, the defense did a hell of a job and they get a chance to move on to the regional finals.

along with their district rivals, Clements, who also beat Stratford today, district 23-5A has two teams playing in each division I and division II regional final....

Indeed... I am now a 23-5A believer. I was going right along with what every one else was saying... weak district, Clements only beats crappy teams, etc. I don't know how you can possibly put a negative spin on TWO teams from this district making the regional finals. I know good the good ole' 26-5 has 4 teams intact (well- I'm not able to view the scoreboard link on the main page, but I'll assume that statement is true) but I don't know of any other districts at this point with two teams left... amazing!
