Grapevine wins 45-38. That gives Grapevine the inside track to the playoffs. Looks like a Trinity vs SLC in Bi District. Should be a dandy if it happens.

I still think DR could have trouble getting in maybe?? Still too long way to go!! I hope they do not go div1. Would love to see another LP vs SLC matchup but that is really looking ahead.

If they end up meeting in the first round, they better pick a large neutral stadium... I dont know how many seats Dragon Stadium has, but Pennington wouldnt hold the crowds of both schools plus those fans who just want to see a great showdown...

One step closer from SL playing PLANO :)

Talk tonight at the Plano game about a possible SL match up. Lots of football to be played before that happens. Sure hopes it happens. Old school vs new.

Then we see who has the best traditon.

You guys are defending state champs. 23 game winning streak you should talk the smack you have the great "Todd Dodge" driving the bus. W

On second thought Plano should just not show up at all. What was I thinking lowly Plano could ever compete with mighty SL!!

Then we see who has the best traditon.I'm sure you are proud of Plano's tradition. SLC has won more games over the last 20 years than any team in Texas. Not a bad tradition either.

If this game happens, I'm 100% certain it'd be played at Texas Stadium...it's in the vicinity of both of the schools, and seems to be the high school pick of choice.

I'm hoping for a Saturday night game...I bet at least 15,000 people show up.

We had 38,000 for the Abilene game last year

Read on another site that 5-5A and 6-5A have Texas Stadium reserved on bi-district Saturday. It would be a triple header, but not sure what the order of games would be.

Count on some Houston fans showing up for the monumental game. Ya'll tailgate? Ike might need some good old Texas food and drink before this one.

There would be way more then 15000 there. I would be willing to bet that there would be more then 15000 from southlake alone there. It will be a big time game.

Probably more like 25,000 plus at that game.

yea, like someone said 38k roughly? for the abilinie game, my guess this game draws a HUGE crowd, 40-50k ballpark figure

I just hope that the game is on Saturday night...

I have a swim meet that afternoon, and I really can't skip it. But my Jesuit Rangers are out of the playoff race, so I'm definitely going to try to go to this game.

I'm just hoping that it's a good game...and doesn't become a blowout as could very well happen.

a blowout?? you got to be kidding me, no way possible! the only thing that will be consider a blow out is from all the screeming, all the air being "blown out"

blow out??? haha wont happen...itll be a very good game with both offenses scoring alot of td's. slc hasnt played a very dominant running team this year and i think there in a big suprise. same thing with et.

Yeah but after watching ET play I think that the dragon D can stop them. Of course they will have to be some changes in personel and coaching styles for this game, but I feel more then confident about SLC playing Trinity.

There would be a big crowd to be sure, but not as big as the Abilene game last year. By the time that game was played, many teams had been elimiated, and a lot of the fans of those teams (myself included) went to see the SLC - Abilene game. In the first round, we'll be watching our own teams. Still, if I could see my team AND this one, I'm sure I'd do it...

Still a lot of ball to be played before that happens...

Still 3 games to go but...if it works out that SLC goes DI it will be a downright shame that either Trinity or SLC be sent home after the first round. All things considered I would have to go with SLC advancing. If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to buy a Trojan hat. (Not USC) :D

but lost more than 3 others, making them the 4th on the list of win %. 1995-2004, they are not in the top 10. 2000-2004 you still rank 4th. There are other teams out there that have tradition, even if they dont have a long winning steak.
