The Gator Bowl commish wants to get his matchup lined up this week. He wants Tech, but needs to get with the ACC/Big 12 Commish's and Holiday/Cotton Bowl for their buy-in. Tech would play either Clemson or Virginia.
Tech doesn't line up very well against Clemson they have a solid pass defense and well balanced offensive attack. I could TTU pulling off a win against Virginia though especially if the QB has any remnants of the injury he sustained saturday against Va. Tech.

There's no way he can get it lined up this week. Everything will depend on the Big XII championship game.

Not really. The Big 12 gets 2 BCS bids and the 3rd wheel (OU, MU, KU) goes to the Cotton Bowl.
The only issue is if Texas goes to the Holiday Bowl or not.
