Just got back from the game and sachse did not look very good. The final score was 35-10 as sachse scored a td late in the fourth quarter. Lakeview who had been shut down to negative yards rushing in the last two games controlled the ball on the ground to set them up in the air were they scored most of ther ponits. To me it looked like sachse just gave up and quit trying...... I figured it was a matter of time before we saw the true sachse.

I was there and what he said is true. Sachse looked like a defeated bunch in the first quarter. The shock of a paper mache 5-0 start has set in. I won't say I told you so, Rough.........oops! :D

When Sachse reached 5-0, a friend of mine IMed me and told me that Garland sucked with our "barely-winning" record. I laughed and said, "just watch."

Watch he did. Did he really think that Sachse was going to run District? I think he did. HAHAHA. They will be in a battle with North for last.

Lakeview, on the the other hand, makes me slightly tremble. I remember the Owls struggling last year. I hope this year is not the case esp. with Homecoming festivities. They have a good team, they are the North of last year.. Good Team, but not good enough to win district. South will probably edge them for third. They play hard no matter who they are playing.

What teams are you watching? Lakeview has beaten Naaman(which may be the worst 5A football team in the Metroplex) and Sachse a 2nd year Varsity program. Comparing Lakeview to North Garland is ridiculous. I know Sachse beat North and for that they should be thankful. North forgot to show up to play. What did North beat Lakeview by? 35-40? The best teams in this district shake out like this:

Garland
Rowlett
South Garland
North Garland
Lakeview
Sachse
Naaman

Last week North Garland beat Lakeview 49-0. The week before they were beaten by South 42-14. I don't think Lakeview is the team to fear.

With all your talk....you'd better hope LC doesn't upset Rowlett...and edge out Garland! They've got a little more confidence, even though it was at the expense of an overrated Sachse team.

Yes, and to think I had already made plans for a championship run.. If they would play like they did last week, the boys would win a couple more of their district games... They let one slip by lastnight... I agree, it was a no show by the sTangs...

Evivdently you didn't witness the LV vs NG game??? They don't play hard whoever they are playing... If they come out and have success, they will play... If they come out an struggle, well, you can read scores just like I can...

They've got a chance to out score Rowlett, they will not stop them.... They will get run over by a mack truck when they face the mighty birds....

Sachse lost to Lakeview, how did this happen? Now I guess that Sachse can't talk about Garland anymore, because they lost to Lakeview Centenial. Tip of the cap to Lakeview, because it was about time that they beat someone, even if it was Sachse... 327 passing yards from Lakeview, I'm amazed!

This really gives SG some breathing room. Sachse is the main threat against South Garland to snatch the 3rd playoff spot. With this loss Sachse falls to 1-2 in district and assuming that SG takes care of Naaman tonight, SG will be 2-2 in district. Sachse still has to play Garland and Naaman before they play South in the last game of the season. Now if Garland beats Sachse next week like they should, and South has their by week that would put Sachse at 1-3 and South at 2-2. Then the next week Sachse has Naaman, a game they should win, and South has North, a game they should win too. Now if both SG and Sachse win that week it'd put Sachse at 2-3 and South at 3-2 Then the week after that will be the South Garland vs. Sachse game and the last game of the regular season. If SG wins then they will have a 4-2 record and Sachse will have a 2-4 record but if Sachse wins the they will both be 3-3 and Sachse will go to the playoffs because they will have the tiebreaker over SG cause' they would have beaten them. So there's the 3rd 11-5A playoff spot scenario for ya'. If I got anything wrong please tell me so that I may fix it.
