Somebody please tell me that Clemson just didnt beat NC State 31-10.

This is the same Clemson team that had to kick a last second FG to beat a very poor Tx A&M team at Clemson.

Like I've I stated about 100 times already. The upper half of the Big-12 is just as good as the upper half of the ACC.

The lower half of the Big-12 is alot better then the ACC's lower half.

So, if anyone wants to claim that the Big-12 is weak this year. They need to make sure they really take a close look at the ACC.

Florida St and Miami are living off of reputation more then anything right now.
I predict that both those team will have 2 losses before the regular season is out and barley hanging in the Top #25.

If FSU or Miami have losses, it'll be between themselves and VT....

We'll see.... both Fla St and Miami have shown weakness against weak teams. When they finally have to play "SOMEONE" they'll get knocked.

Like I said.. both team are living off reputation right now. Clemson kicking the dog-butt out of NC State is funny. It just shows how "WEAK" the ACC is overall.

I still cant believe Clemson had to kick a last play FG @ Clemson to beat a weak Tx A&M team. It just proves how weak the middle and lower half of the ACC is.

Shoot, the best quality win Miami has is against (Big-12) Colorado. That Colorado team will probably end up about #5th in the Big-12 at the end of the season.

Nebraska killed Wake Forest 31-3. We'll see how BC looks against Wake

Again... these scores clearly indicate that the Big-12 is overall alot better then the ACC from top to bottom. Sorry.

Haha.. that would be crazy. I like seeing Baylor having success but I dont see them knocking off the Cornhuskers this week. The Nebraska team that I saw playing Tx Tech looked pretty salty.

I'm going to laugh my butt off if Wake Forest beats the #14 team in the nation (Boston College). That would be another huge "black eye" for the ACC. If Wake Forest comes out and plays mistake free football they'll beat BC and knock BC clear out of the top #25 while Nebraska slides into it and gives the Big-12 somemore power pts. haha.

PS. Fla St and Miami will both end the regular season with 2 losses. Watch.

The conference's mediocrity could be its biggest story down the stretch, particularly if it acts as a liability for Texas' national-title hopes. Texas appears in good shape in the human part of the Bowl Championship Series equation but will struggle in the computer polls because of the Big 12's lack of strength.

The Big 12 currently has only three teams ranked in the national polls, which matches the lowest number at this point of the season in the history of the conference. That means Texas' schedule likely will be weaker than any of the other potential national contenders.

ACC 2 in the top 5, 3 in the top 10!!! Come with something new frog. You keep bringing up Nebraska beating Wake Forest as indicating something. Wake Forest has not been a football power in 30 years. What exactly does beating them prove?? Do better than that or let it rest. Facts are facts as much as you would like to deny them. :p

Does this make Va tech's strength of schedule weaker since they only beat a weak a** nc state team by 4?

It should, but will it be enough to push Texas over the top? I don't think so

Considering that NC State got a new offensive and defensive coordinator and it was the first game of the season AND no one predicted the game to be close....i don't think it does. It's like everyone predicting that Ohio State was so good and look at them now.....

weak response. Considering that NC state has a new o and d coordinator and it was the first game of the year further solidifies the fact that Va tech should not get credit for a stronger strength of schedule. They only won by 4. :D Maybe Penn state is a little better than everybody thought,
Ohio State still wins the big ten.

It wasn't even predicted to be a blowout, we were ( best i remember) 6 pt. favorites.

And yes, the new o and d coordinator and it being first game does make a difference.

Dont look now Redskin and Junkie.. but big bad powerful "OVERRATED" Florida St looks like they're going to get the big "L" against Virginia.

If they lose to Virginia they drop out of the top #10.

Damn.. I smell those Conference "power pts" buidling up in the Big-12 every week.

I've stated about 100 times to you two.. Florida St and Miami will both have 2 "L" in the regular season before the ACC title game and both will be out of the top #10.

Both are living strictly on past reputation right now. That's it period.

Texas and Tx Tech would both kill Florida St and Miami.

Yes you are right, new o and d coord should have been a blowout for Tech, but it was not.
