Wow, Flynn had an awful first half.

Amazing LSU can play that bad and still be down only 7-6 at halftime. If they can't beat Arkansas at home then obviously they deserve to be dismissed from the NC discussion.

But I would imagine the second half will be a different story.

Well, I'd like to see Georgia win out and possibly, end up in the title game, with a little help of course. I've always been a fan of Matthew Stafford since his sophomore year at Highland Park.

I dont care if they are in the SEC or in the Big 10. Giving up 50 points as the #1 team is simply just flat out BAD. Even if they did win, they wouldnt of deserved to be #1.

Yep, barring some more upsets, it looks like we will get wvu in the BCS championship game with one loss to South Florida and major wins over Pitt and Syracuse. Ugh.:puke

And all I heard when I was talking about Arkansas this year from the SEC fans is how bad and pathetic they were and their coach was a joke. Arky was too one dimensional and a joke on offense. 500 plus yards and 50 points later?????

Good point. I think even if the Tigers had pulled it out in OT, a lot of voters would have switched to the winner of the KU/MU game for #1, especially if KU wins.

LSU started out great this year but just couldn't hold up to the week in week out grind in the SEC. I think the knee injury to Dorsey had a lot to do with their defensive slide this season.

Hats off to McFadden. He's the best football player in the nation and should win the Heisman. LSU had no clue how to defense that "wild hog" formation.

I was very into this game as now I need a few things for the Bucks to get in.

1.) Winner of Mizzou/Kansas to lose to Oklahoma in Big 12 championship....Then we are in

or

2.) West Virginia Loses to UConn and we are in.

I don't know who is No. 1 - but it wasn't LSU. 50 points on your own field? A team with no qb? Where's the D?

Agreed !! I mean wow where is that great SEC and LSU "D ??" Probably a good thing they werent playing Louisiana Monroe.:D

I really feel bad seeing that stale program lose that game to Arkansas. Maybe something weird will happen and LSU can backdoor themselves into the Nat'l Title game with 2 losses but I wont count on it.

Looks like no "Home cooking" Superdome National Title game this year for LSU.

Too Bad..

Well, we just couldn't get it done....We were given a second chance(at #1) and still couldn't get it done.....No one to blame but ourselves....

Yesterday's first half play by the Tigers was as bad as I have seen it in years....Pityful!....I have never seen an LSU QB play that poorly(I don't care where he's from)...

Miles just didn't have "his" team ready in my opinion....

AND, another thing....Why in the world did RP not get some action in that first half?...That's what I wanna know.....If you ain't gonna play the boy kick him off the team.....

Oh well, bout all the venting I'm doing....

Bottom line-we stunk!
