14-5a won't be in the playoffs for long if the klein schools and westfield can play to their ability which Ithink they can

That's why they play the games. I expect that all four matchups will be competitive. Good luck!

UIL has a long history of not going backwards or giving up revenue. As much as some of us hate the water-down version of the playoffs it's not going to change anytime soon. The current system works for districts like The 265 but fail in districts where the 4th place team is getting by with a 3-7 mark. I feel if the UIL likes 4 teams they should outlaw districts of 6 or less teams. 7, 8 and 9 team districts should be the norm with 4 getting in. And 7 team districts should be rare and only in circumstances where travel is an issue.

Here is a better breakdown of the coming week for the undefeated districts what is interesting is 14-5A is taking on 16-5A in round 2 they both swept their Bi-Districts to meet up 4 on 4 in Round 2
14-5A North Austin / Round Rock Area
Division I
Round Rock Defeated A&M Consol 30-23 in Round 1 Plays Klein in Round 2
Stony Point Defeated Bryan 49-20 in Round 1 Plays Westfield in Round 2
Division II
Pflugerville Defeated Temple 34-31 in Round 1 Plays Klein Forest in Round 2
Leander Defeated Killeen Ellison 35-21 in Round 1 Plays Klein Oak in Round 2
16-5A Klein Area
Division I
Klein Defeated Conroe 19-13 in Round 1 plays Round Rock in Round 2
Westfield Defeated the Woodlands 55-28 in Round 1 plays Stony Piont in Round 2
Division II
Klein Forest Defeated Lufkin 23-16 in Round 1 plays Pflugerville in Round 2
Klein Oak Defeated Woodlands CP 59-42 in Round 1 plays Leander in Round 2
The 265 North East San Antonio Area
Division I
Reagan Defeated Westlake 34-27 in Round 1 Plays OConnor in Round 2
Judson Defeated Bowie 21-10 in Round 1 plays Southwest in Round 2
Division II
Madison Defeated San Marcos 22-14 in Round 1 Plays Warren in Round 2
Smithson Valley Defeated Austin 34-0 in Round 1 Plays East Central in Round 2
30-5A - McAllen RGV off coast area
Division I
La Joya Defeated Laredo united 37-0 in Round 1 Plays PSJA in Round 2
Donna Defeated 28-21 Laredo Nixon in Round 1 Plays Los Fresnos in Round 2
Division II
McAllen Rowe Defeated Eagle Pass 28-27 in Round 1 Plays Harlingen South in Round 2
McAllen Defeated Laredo united South 58-7 in Round 1 plays Westlaco in Round 2
Personally I dont think any of these districts come out of this week unscathed. 30-5A may have the worst schedule having to send the McAllen schools to go up against Westlaco and H-South is a tough spot. Donna and la Joya might be winners for 30-5A.
I see 14-5A and 16-5A splitting or a 3-1 for 14-5A but I think it will be hard for either district to sweep again.
The 265 looks to me to be 3-1 Smithson Valley and Judson should be victories. Reagan will be looking at a totally different OC team then what they saw in week 1 and Madison may have to win 2-0 against Warren to get a sweep, my gut says somewhere The 265 drops one maybe even 2 but no more than 2.

for some reason i just can't and don't see the 26-5 losing THIS week. Just a credit to the district and if it happens it justifies the "The" part of "The 265"

unbeknownst to MADFAN#1 I have been using the phrase "THE 265" for a long time now. It's not so much about the dominance it's more about the attitude of playing in the district. A lot like "Little SWC" but knowing the UIL they will probably screw up the whole thing for me and move districts to where todays 265 will be 27-5A next year....

Yeah, and I know ALLEN really hates that 4th place team getting into the playoffs!!! :p
