Tradition is that experience of playing (and winning) in the playoffs. It is earned and places just a little apprehension in your opponent's mind when the going gets tough. Bowie on paper should have beat you because of thier athleticism and play of late...but they did not...much like in year's past. It is hard to quantify but it is real and does have an impact on the game.

They did not make the playoffs the next year, but Rackley's then-Dragons pulled a monumental 6-0 upset of top-ranked Marshall. When you are 11-0 you are the favorite period. SW has proven themselves worthy of being the favorite for this game. I just hope Judson plays like they did last week and that might keep them in the game. If you look at CC Ray they just gave Warren all they could handle and SW beat them like a drum. Also it would not be a shock if SW did beat Judson five years ago yes, now just another win.

Thank you KT2000, they just love to push the point...doesn't matter who we are playing, they take the other team...district, area, region, or state...I just pray that Judson and Reagan continue to win so that we can face them once again...I think that is one reason they pull for the other team...they do not want to face us again...

Got your tickets already? Salinas is a very good back, but Reagan also has a decent, above average back, who like SV's Rios, is quick and fast. Reagan would have the defensive edge if that game were to take place.

Funny, I did not think Shaw or Swan scored that many so far this year, but thats cool. Being new to the playoffs it is better if you do not think that far ahead, and take it game by game bcause both of you might not be there anyway.

The better they perform, the better our district looks. Get with the program fellas and support all the teams in our district!
