Given TWHS success against KF, I think Conroe has a shot to win this one. If TWHS can put up 21 against them, surely Conroe can as well and it looks like KF's offense is sputtering. Any thoughts?

LPFan, is that you? You are kidding right. TWHS did hang 21 on KF. I guess you are planning on Conroe running back a KO and a fumble to get that 21.

KF was a good team. They dropped 2 passes that would have been touch downs. The QB is good and so are the tails. They have a D1 tackle that will could take credit for most of their 1st down conversions (6' 5", 350 lbs). Our defense beat them because they hammered the receivers to the point where they stopped concentrating on the ball and we caused a few fumbles.

Ummmm......no! I have no need to hide behind a different screen name. I don't post ridiculous comments about weak teams beating strong teams. Of course as I have stated before anything can happen in football. I thought the question was silly too and I think KFwins this one.

Scary, LPFan and I agree on something. Here is a good question? How much will Dez have his stats padded against a slowed footed secondary of Klein? I say 2 TD passes and over 130 yards receiving.

So, how Dez will do against a slow secondary is a more legit question than how a 3-2 conroe team will do against a 4-1 KF team that is stumbling offensively? OK. Sorry I asked the "stupid" question

If they are short also they are really in trouble. Short and slow is not a good combination if you are going up against some very fast and tall wr's that can jump.

Not stupid really - Conroe may compete with KF - who knows. Maxey is a decent RB - but KF will be very good on the run d - and Conroe can't pass to save them. I say KF - 28 - Conroe - 14.

But, both KF and LP need to guard against looking ahead to Monday night.

What happened to Conroes big fullback/DT (MacArthur) ? Is he playing? I thought I remember hearing that he got hurt this summer. What's the deal with him?

MacArthur was hurt during 7 on 7 competition in College Station against Lufkin. ACL injury and a tough recovery for a guy his size.

I pick KF for this one by 14 although I have to say that the new coach at Conroe (I think in his 3rd year) seems to be doing things right. We have been playing a better team each year since his arrival.

Thanks, that's to bad. I thought I heard he got hurt this summer. Didnt realize it was an ACL tear. He sounds like his a football beast (6-2/300/4.8) type of kid. Probably make one HELL of a DT in college with that size/speed ratio. Hope he makes it back 100%. :)

I guess he's not going to see the field for his senior year. One of those "7 on 7" injuries.

Collins has played both and KF has clearly the better athletes but better play their game or they could get upset. But who knows, I was surprised by The Woodlands beating KF.

Board says KF beat Conroe last night 31-7. An offense is going to be sporadic with a soph. qb - KF's.
