SLC is getting new hemets this season made by Schutt. This cutting edge technology is designed so that you can eliminate the head injuries, ands still feel lightweight.... Not to mention, it was the only helmet on the market to fit the big and still growing head associated with Greg Mcelroy....offer check!

Do the helmets come with headphones that intercept the
other team's plays? That would be awesome. Wait...do
they need that?...sorry...my bad.

Please, lets don't start the "headphones" thing again. I'm sure SLC coaches were wondering why Javorski Vane didn't touch the ball till sometime in the 2nd Qtr.

HAHAHA, Thats classic SLC hate right there...

I didnt really like Schutt helmet, I played w/ one during the spring last year, got a massive concusion. (wasnt fun...trust me), Maybe that turned me off of it. I switched to a Bike helmet for the rest of spring, and went back to the Shutt Helmet for the season...I liked the Bike helmet better (then I again i used it for the first three years of high school so i had a bias, but over all after getting a concusion, and waking up in the Hospital after practice one day, wasnt to great also...gave me that impression

Didn't everybody on the team have one of those revolutions helments. I thought that was kinda weird, usually you only see a select group of people on each football team have them.

Even if we heard there plays which we didnt, if we were all on the same frequency they could have heard ours as well...its not a big deal..itsj ust one of those jealousy rumors that teams start to give excuses as to why they lost when they were expected to win..im sure Flowermound will come up with SOMETHING as to why they lost the three game series to the baseball team..great job guys

I keep hearing "let it go" well at least admit
it...and it would be easier to let it go.

I thought those helmets were unbreakable but this spring I know somebody that broke someone elses while playing football. Now I think that is pretty impressive

since you may be shipboard together, i'm guessing you'll get along better than with those flyboys with the 7000 ft tree-lined runways that never change coordinates, who can fly anytime the sun is shining between 0900 and 1500.

My friend was in the Navy and they wanted me bad, but I couldn't do it. I'll take the duty location that doesn't change coordinates daily. I like to get out and drive too much to be in the Navy.

Oh yeah...nice to know that shipmate.
My Dad was Marine Recon in Chu Lai in
1966 and 67. I wanted to join the Corps
but believe it or not ...he talked me out of
it. Didn't want me to end up being a grunt.
So I settled for being a Personnelman in
the Navy.

I think a Piper Cub dropping a hand grenade could have sunk our ship! But we were proud sailors! I saw a lot of the world in 68 & 69 & grew up a lot, then it paid for my college.

Nope...they stayed nice and neat...just the way I like 'em.
I was undesignated when I was on the carrier though. So
I was a deckhand for a while. Chipping paint and swabbing the
deck. That got old real quick.

No, I was on the USS Traverse County, LST 1160. They are about 400 feet long and have bow doors that open, allowing about twenty amphibious tanks to swim out. It was designed for the Korean war and is part of the "Gator Navy" or amphibious group, based in Little Creek, VA. It was really built to be a one way boat, or, if we got to the beach & delivered our tanks & Marines, we had done our job....good luck getting back..

I've thought about those paint jobs a lot and it would be disheartening to paint something and have to turn around and paint it again real soon.

No, but getting into a good military argument is always nice. I'll tell you that the Air Force is the best, but I've always gotten along good with the Army, Navy, and Marines on various assignments and deployments. Each branch has a specific function that we must perform and all of us do it very well.

That's right each branch has a specific function in the big
picture. For instance...if there were no Navy ...all of the

We try to do our part to make sure these institutions make
the money they deserve and are properly depleted of all
beverages.
