With the Colleyville and Keller losses last night and the probable Grapevine loss tonight to Hebron it just underscores how far this District has fallen. This group might really hurt SLC's chances to run the table this year by failing to prepare them.
just sayin'

that might be the stupidest thing i have ever read. So because colleyville and keller lost, and you speculate that grapevine will loose, that means that SLC wont win state? that is ridicilous. to prepare them??? they dont need preparing, they always open a can of whoop *** on district opponents, how in the world could anybody in our district prepare them if they dominate? that assumption was stupid, welcome to the board.

I don't know whether this years teams are an better or worse than last years. I don't think the district has ever been very good. The only thing that will hurt SLC is injury or lack of defense. It very well could be both the way this season has gone.

You may want to consider posting this on the 5-5A vs 6-5A thread . . . its the same exact conversation.

When people try to evaluate the strength of 5-5A it's always in the context of how strong it is against the best and not against the average. 5-5A is above average statewide. Of course when I say this folks will automatically want to compare them to the DFW suburban best while conveniently leaving out the droves of other cruddy districts.
5-5A is decent, not great. There are only 4-5 stand out districts state wide. The other 27 or 28 are not.:)
