I'm organizing an ownership group to purchase the Seattle Sonics with the intent of keeping them in Seattle/Tacoma. The team is valued around $268 million, so I figure a $300 million bid will be required. We need 30 million people to put up $10 or 3 million to put up $100. Let me know if you're interested.

if your serious that would be bada$$, i'd throw down. Theres also probably a lot of people that would throw down more than $100. You know Seattle and Washington state would be down

I would love to do it, but I wouldn't even know where to start. I'm not really a Sonics fan, but the thought of them leaving Seattle for Oklahoma City makes me nauseous.

It's probably because the fan base was so huge when New Orleans played there

The fan base was huge when the Saints played in San Antonio. That doesn't mean they deserve a pro football team.
