Vondrell had a great game on limited carries. But my favorite play this weekend was when Jammal Chalres Spint and went 80 yards on the Sooners. Thank God the streak is over.

Jammal fot Heisman (Jorvorskie is Still better)

Cove's buckram gained 92 and the other back Millsap picked up 142 along with QB Garner running for 110. Cove has three people in the backfield that can run over 100 every game.

Rowlett's Andre Pierce, the state's leading rusher in all classifications with 1,536 yards, ran for 332 yards and three touchdowns against previously unbeaten Sachse High School. This, after Sachse even had a bye week to prepare to stop him. Andre led Rowlett to their sixth consecutive win and is averaging over 219 yards per game. This was Andre's 4th outing over 250 yards against the state's 8th toughest 5A schedule (Massey Ratings 10/12/05).

Against South Garland last week Garland had seven players who averaged 4 or more yards per carry, led by Voss Williams with 15 carries for 85 yards, along with Greg Hunter, Devin McDowell, Tim Crosby, Matt Guiterrez, Jacques Caldwell,
and Matt Miville. Star running back Dante Sloan did not play due to grade problems.

See.. that kid (Andre Pierce) is the perfect example of how some kids will explode onto the scene from almost nowhere. I know he had a nice Junior year (900 yds) but his on pace to double that and some...

I was trying to explain to Newsheriff..a/k/a wyatt earp that every year there is some new kids that will pop into the recruiting scene from out of the blue.

I'm sure he's (Andre Pierce) is going to have his choice of many schools to pick from here in a couple of months.

Roberson is number 8 on all time yd in 5a. Tough to tell next yr. but remember Evan (uh) from b4 roberson is #2 all time in 5a. Pearland is running back u. Only skool to have 2 in top ten and maybe three.

2007 Grad. Bradley Stephens had 262 yds on 19 carries in 2.5 quarters of play. He had 213 yds at the half. He played the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter and then was done for the night. He currently has 1269 yds in 5 total games one game was canceled due to Hurricane Rita.( Actual game playing time 4 games ) Stephens is averaging 253 yds per game and has 19 TDs.
Give him the make up game and he could be the top rusher in the state right now. I noticed his web site was updated with some nice action pictures.
