A lot of folks around here still respect Ross and what he accomplished. As far as the "house Ross built", I wish he'd have built a nicer one, ala Roundrock or Westlake or Waco! :)

I guess if we and Bryan end up becoming 4 highschools, we might be able to justify getting a super nice crib.

It'll be a good game for sure. With all the rain yesterday and today, it'll probably get pretty muddy. That might make the passing offense on both sides more difficult.

i know consol still has a good running game even with palmer out they proved that last week against the maker, i am exited about playing in aTm this week though its getting closer!!!!!

if we can stop making mistake's we shouldnt have a problem 14 of shoemakers points were off turn-overs, we just need to stop making these stupid mistake's and get back on track

I think A&M has the better team and scouted HH quite a bit. Although, HH can do us a favor and beat them i would love that so i am pulling for HH but do not think it will be easy.

I know you have the hometown perspective, but our back up running back rushed for 200 yards, most of them in the 2nd half! We also have two other backs that are fast as the wind. In addition, we have other receivers that do a great job is Lewis gets all the attention. The QB has lots of options. And, well, the O line is playing extremely well.

Scott is right about mistakes. It's time for us to stop making them and play 4 Q's of ball. If we continue to make mistakes and only show up for half a game, we'll not see any playoffs this year.

I was gone for a mintue but i'm back baby representin' dem heights boyz. big diesal will end up with at least 10 panacakes, and the funny thing is that you think that we are kidding, thats funny. naw but on the real it will be a good game, but i see heights coming out on top. they have been playin ball really well since district started, and the big MO is on there side even though aTm did come from behind last week. where did belton come from in this topic? that was really random and stupid!!!! great game this friday and heights wins by three with a field goal at the one mintue mark, and the defense comes up big like last week.

Happy to point out to all that the weather is beautiful, winds are mild to moderate, no rain in days. Field is in good shape. Clear skis, cool evening, down around 60 tonght they say.

Sounds to me like one helluva night to play some... (gets my best Keith Jackson voice working)

This truly is the greatest game known to man. It teaches, inspires, encourages, uplifts, consoles to each in a different way. But, to have played this great game is to love this great game. Most of you know what I'm talking about. You give it all you have and at the end of the night, you look , not up at the scoreboard, but in that mirror and you know. You just know you did all you could. Winning is great, but win or lose, you know you laid it all out there and walked away better for it.

Haha all i have to say is Look at our stands and see the best fans in the state of Texas, our team drives off our fans and watch out for #87, #10, #5, #77 because you either seem em blazin by you, pancaking you, or Mossin on you like no other

This is true w/out that dumb, and i mean DUMB decision by the boss that game goes a totaly different way. But i did happen and ya'll got the "W" so congrats on that but before u say good luck next year and count us out, make sure the season is over because if we make the playoffs u will feel like a complete jackass.

Haha yea i didnt do anything primetime, but heightsiswhereistay, we are saying good luck (atleast i am) bc yall most likely still are gonna make the play-off's, we havnt meet a team so far that has played better (havnt played cove yet) but good game and good luck the rest of the season

yeah #9 detron lewis is a junior
i think #1 is randall williams and hes a junior
and both qbs that played last night are juniors, #5 chris jones and #7 kyle gideon

Offensive line was 3 seniors, a junior and a sophmore last night. That has varied in past games a bit as the Jr and the Soph split time a lot. But not last night. Only sophomore on the team I think. One of the other Sr o-line starters was out due to injury.

So, next year, there's going to have to be a few linemen out of the current Soph class to step up. There are several Jr line backups that have promising futures as well.

D-tackles are Sr's. 2 of the LB's are Sr's. Not sure how many secondary.

Overall, pretty balanced with numbers of Sr's and Jr's that start I think.

Kicker is a Jr. We take bets on whether he'll put the kickoff through the uprights for a field goal. :)

His punting is pretty solid as well. Good guy.
