Mizzou may not beat Kansas but it is neat to see Chase do so well. Is he Heisman material?

Off topic, as Lufkin and Longview posters would say. LOL

I have a feeling they might just win. Its gonna be a good one.
He should be mentioned I believe. I think he's better than that Running Back that plays for the Swine(Arkansas). 320 Rushing yards against South Carolina but can't do crap on Rocky Top..... what a joke.

Was able to make the Texas A&M @ Missouri game today. I have to say he looked very good and composed. There were a couple plays were he got lit up but he still made smart plays most of the time. Saw the field very very well and the Aggies didn't have an answer for him through out the first half.
He's only going to get better.

Chase is a GREAT player, no doubt about it, and deserves a mention as one of the nations elite.
To knock D Mac as a "joke" is insane. That guy is the best ball carrier in the country, bar none. He does more for a pitiful offensive team than anyone I can think of this season. It's not difficult to hold him down, when his counterpart goes out with an injury, and the O coordinator can't think further down the field than 7 or 8 yards. Not to mntion an average at best O-line.
Anyway, not going to beat that drum all night.
The kid is for real and whoever picks him up in the draft will have an impact player from the start.

I think this year is his best chance. If Mizzou wins the Big 12 championship hes in New York.

if they win out, and make the big game, he may declare for the draft, and i wouldn't blame him. he came out of high school as well prepared as almost any college qb and has matured and handled the speed well enough. gary p is having nightmares about this very possibility.

if chase can beat kansas state and kansas with no turnovers and beat Oklahoma in the big 12 championship, then yea i think chase has a legit chance at winning the heisman, if not this year, next year he may have a better mizzou team to help him easily win it

No, b/c Maclin is pretty incredible and may steal the spotlight.

Was he the one that went for that 82 yard touchdown yesterday? Couldn't believe he stayed in bounds (or whoever did it).

He is still a year away from winning the Hesiman, but he should be invite to New York.
Dennis Dixon or McFadden should win the Heisman this season.

And to think TAMU didn't recruit him cause of his size.

i think he'd stay in until he gets (or is scheduled to get) his undergraduate. just in case things don't work out in the NFL, he's smart enough to know to have a backup plan. now if he were predicted to go very early 1st round and could work some deal, then his finance education should take over and tell him that he should go with a big signing bonus and then could finish up his degree at another time if he would need to.
just my opinion
if he does stay for next year, i think he'd be a heisman favorite with tebow (assuming he stays) from the get go.

TAMU deserves to loose.
BTW I like Colt McCoy, but I wanted Daniels from the get go. How could you offer a 2A QB over the 2 time 5A player of the year. Once again nothing wrong with McCoy im glad he is our signal caller and wouldnt trade him. Even though McCoy was recruited to back up Ryan Perriouloux(SP) before he bolted for LSU (Thank god he did).

Daniel reminds me of Drew Brees. A well-prepared, football smart QB from a premiere program that didn't get the attention he deserved from the big boys in state. I'm glad he's doing well at Mizzou, but I hope he stays and gets his degree. I think that if he stayed on next season he would just improve his stock.

Chase is in the perfect system for him...can you imagine how beaten down he'd be at aggie? I feel for McGee, who is a better QB than he is able to show in franville...

I see the same thing with Daniels as I see with the kid from KU. A bit undersized for the "big" programs. If you look up and down those two teams' rosters, you'll find quite a few Texas kids that got passed over by UT, A&M, and TTech because they didn't measure up height-wise. We see this year in and year in HS recruiting.
Those two program coaches know how to get the most out of what they have in players. Kudos to both of them. The KU/Mizzou game ought to be epic. When is it anyway? This weekend or next?

Tebow's got no choice but to stay. He's only a sophmore.

Oh please, Texas Tech offered him but he didn't like the fact he wasn't guaranteed the starting job...same class as Graham.

Tech's recruitment was half hearted, at best. I love what Harrell's doing for the Red Raiders but he'd be on the bench if Daniel was there. Leach's lack of interest in Carroll offensive players has always baffled me.

the real question to be answered is whether another year under pinkle is going to increase his value to the nfl. i don't see how it could, and thus if someone is willing to throw late first round money at him, he'd be borderline crazy not to put off graduation a decade or so.

unless you are kin to the pirate, i'm wondering how you "know" this. did mizzou promise him a starting job? maybe by not recruiting another qb that year, they might have shown their hand a little more than tt did. cd has never shown any significant fear of competition, btw.
