Bogus penalty in my opinion... this is football and I don't think he was trying to hurt him. I'll take the first down though.
Touchdown! Probably overturned...

Didn't have enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. Either way he had his toe is in the endzone for sure so it wasn't that bad of a call.

The front half of his foot DID come in bounds and the back half 'MIGHT' have hit out of bounds but you cannot tell from ANY camera angle. There wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call.

I dont know, that goaline angle looked pretty obvious to me...it was only his toes, and that back half of his foot was going out of bounds... But thats how it goes... I think they would of scored on the drive anyway, but their is still alot of football to be played.

That was an incredible catch.
That was definitely a nice catch but...
The rules for in-bounds catches in the NCAA are pretty ridiculous. A toe-drag is a touchdown unless the toe-drag results in a heel hitting the ground not 100% in bounds but blah blah blah. They should just make it like the NFL, both feet have to be in bounds.

No see that is BS. If you drag your toe diving out of bounds forward it is a clear touchdown but if you drag your toe falling backwards out of bounds you have to have your heel touch in the field of play? What is the difference? A toe drag is a toe drag.

now i can agree with that. its a good point, i dont think their should be any disparity if one player is going forward or the other goes backwards.
But the rules are the rules.

That last drive was BS. Tech did drop the TD. Vasquez sure did hold on Kindle, but Melton blasted Harrell late helmet to helmet. Should have been a flag on Melton as well.
But really, this is game is on Tech's uber-pathetic D. They can't stop anyone. You can't let Texas have 8 minute long TD drives and expect to win. Every play Texas gets 2-3 more yards than they should because of weak tackling and hesitation. Tech'd D does not fly to the ball.

Tech's defense is about as resistant to penetration as Jenna Jameson, but the offense is getting screwed!

The biggest job I saw was the failure to call the late hit on Melton. Vasquez did hold, and Britton and Crabtree did NOT make those catches.

Crab's was a catch. His elbow was under the ball. look at how he came out of the roll... if the ref called it a catch they wouldn't have overturned it, except in Austin...
They made up those yards anyway

That ball was not caught. It was close, but he didn't have control when he and the ball hit the ground.
