Let me tell you something, if you understand that any defense is a weapon that the coaches determine how to use against an offense, then you will understand that Allens defense is great when the coaches use it correctly.

A loaded gun is not being used to it's full potential when you try to hit someone over the head with it or throw it at someone. Likewise, as soon as the Allen coaches made the changes in how they used the Allen Defense, East was shut down.

You may be right and we will see. Right now the Bulls Eye is on Rowlett. Never overlook any opponent and never underestimate the entertainment value of any situation no matter how bad it may seem.

That is why we buy the tickets, make the trip to the games, paint up our teenagers, make stupid signs, bring noise makers, and cheer till we lose our voices.

I fully expect that if Both Allen and Skyline make it to round 2, That all of the Dallas schools come out and support Skyline!! ADAMS, CARTER, MOLINA, SUNSET, and WHITE this is a callout. This is your chance to represent for 11-5A.

Both teams are solid, but don't make the mistake of looking this far forward. If you get the kids on the team thinking like this you'll never make it. One game at a time.

Lufkin made this mistake last year, looking forward to a semi-finals rematch with Southlake. One problem, Round Rock tossed us out of the Play-Offs like a cheap frisbee in the second round. One game at a time.

This is more then one district listed here and most of those teams have speed and the size of any district in the state including Allen, so not sure what your point is:confused:

Only thing I see on Skyline is defense? Nothing else? 11-5A has not done much lately, Carter use to. So looks like it would be High powered offense against strong defense. Allen has played three or four of those so still do not see any change in out come in a good playoff game.:D

I like the way Allen is playing and I can see Allen winning the Regional Final. Allen has a Southlake look about them, in that Allen can score a lot of points and if you get into a scorefest with Allen, you will end up losing. If Allen comes up against a defense which can stop this scoring machine, then Allen could come up short.

I know a lot needs to happen, but I look forward to an Allen vs Permian/Trinity match up of Region 1 vs Region 2.

I take my other post back, this is the most off post of the day. PESH D is not that bad. Allen's offense is darn near unstoppable. Ever think that it was Allen's offense that made Ests D look bad? Plano said they should smoke us too. Then we went into their house and beat them while hanging 35 on the "unstoppable" D. I'm not sure why you hate so much on Allen. I guess it's either your jealous or scared?????:D

Any team that is 10-0, coming out of, arguably, one of the toughest districts in the State, scores a ton of points, cannot not be a bad team. Allen is the pick of the D1/Region 2 teams. Allen will be a very very difficult team to beat. Allen's playing style is similar to Southlake Carroll's and that is to keep the scoreboard moving and if you cannot keep up the Allen offense, you will not beat Allen.

I would LOVE to play Carroll more THIS year than any other.

Of course I'm an old fart . . . . . I'm not out on the field, but I would bet that the Allen players would love the chance to beat Carroll. They ARE our playoff rival!

First off, when you make comments that AREN'T true, what do you expect?
