i just keep hearing the giants defense is so much better then week 1 when the cowboys won and the giants will win on sunday lalala, i think the dallas defense is only improving, week 1 we didnt have T. Newman and this game we will have both our starting cb`s playing plus if im not mistaken we will have a Tank in the middle of the field, my predication COWBOYS 38 giants 21...any thoughts ?

Little Manning will be exposed again as a middle of the road QB and the cowboys will defeat the giants only weapon of the blitz.

Giants looked great playing a 6 game stretch against some of the worst teams in the league, any team will shine against the 49ers, Jets, Dolphins, Falcons, and Eagles.

The Giants will face an O-Line that won't flop over, a defense that can hit, and an offense that can put up points which is something they haven't seen since Week 1. I look for the Giants to flop.

Cowboys - 38
Giants - 21

lets see if the cowgirls will step up at the meadowlands. haha

Hopefully Romo doesnt put up 4 touchdowns like last time.
i hope eli manning steps up and pulls atleast one win for his family since peyton couldnt do it this week.

Does Dallas FINALLY have their top two corners back? And is Tank Johnson playing thing week?

this is a revitalized giants team...new defense with arguably the best d-line in the nfl...very good run game combined with a solid passing game. plus, this one's in the meadowlands. i'll take the g-men in an upset.

There are other teams in the NFC?

A few land animals, some birds, a cheesy team, an Indian, and the jolly "blue" giant.

The Cowboys will rope the animals, shoot the birds, eat the cheese, kill the Indian, and beat the jolly "blue" giant to the top of the bean stock!:D

And exactly what was the quality teams that Dallas has beat the past 7 games?

And exactly what was the quality teams that Dallas has beat the past 7 games? It's not necessarily how many quality teams they've played. Dallas' opponents' combined record is 28-37; NY's is 27-38. So they are very similar. Dallas lost to the Patriots, while NY lost to Dallas and Green Bay. Dallas' average MOV in their wins was 15.86, while NY's was 12.16. Romo has thrown 64.4% for 2308, 19 TDs, and 10 INTs. Eli has thrown 58.2% for 1584, 13 TDs, and 9 INTs. Dallas' 2 main rushers have gone 888 yds with an avg. of 4.6. NY has gone 898 with an avg. of 5.0.
If you look at 3rd and 4th down, Dallas has converted 49% of 3rd downs and 66.7% of 4th downs, while NY has gotten 43.7% of 3rds and 50% of 4ths.
Both teams have had a close win - Dallas had Buffalo and NY had Miami.
Basically, these teams look to be very similar, but the stats lean in Dallas' favor. Plus, add in Tank Johnson coming to play, and I'd say Dallas takes it. It won't be a blowout, but Dallas will win. More stats about the defense in the works. :)

Don't forget that Anthony Henry will be back at full strength again. This will be the first game that Newman and Henry will start together this season. The defense is finally at full strength with Henry and Johnson coming to play.

Dallas' defense is getting better, just like New York's defense is. The Boys also have had the injury bug, and Tank will give the Boys more depth on the d-line. With the exception of T.Glenn, the Boys are almost at full strength, and both the Boys and the G-Men are better than they were in week 1.

My prediction:

Boys 21
G-Men 17

Well, before the Cowboys beat the Giants, it was supposed to be a real test...the Cowboys won...uh-oh....the Giants were hurt...not a real test.

The Cowboys were playing the Bears and it was supposed to be a test....the Cowboys won....the bears suck....not a real test.

Miami.....

Minnesota.....

Buffalo.....

Philly.....uh.....not so much....

Had a lead against the world champs in the 3rd qtr....no credit.

See a trend here?

When are you haters gonna admit they got a good team and beat teams that, before they clobbered them, were touted as being a test.

They play the Giants now, I guess they gotta prove themselves again because the first win was against an inferior team that is not inferior anymore.......RIGHT!!

Our D had no Newman or Ellis and lost Ferguson, early, in that opening game. Newman is back, as good a cover as there is in the league. Ellis is playing inspired football and, in the process, has unleashed the beast that is Demarcus Ware. Tank Johnson debuts on Sunday and gives the Cowboys a big, powerful presence they've lacked since Ferguson went down. Additionaly, as a result of injuries, Reeves and Jones have picked up invaluable experience during the first 8 games. I've been preaching this for weeks. Dallas is getting the kind of mid to late season talent boosts, as folks have returned from injury/suspension, that will be the difference maker for them this year. The defense is starting to figure out the scheme to the point that Phillips & Stewart can start putting in all the wrinkles. Barring injury, they should be a dominating unit by December, Geez, all that and we haven't even mentioned the O. G-men are going down, hard.

the cowboys have a good team...but they haven't beaten anybody good so they have something to prove. if they beat the giants (which they wont!:D), we can talk...remember, a good record in the nfc does not hold much water against the same record in the afc.

Because teams are never what they seem that early in the season. Chicago sucks (sorry d08). Are you seriously bragging about a win over miami? And buffalo?! Minnesota is okay.

The reason why they were "tests" was because people thought they would be good - suprise, suprise, they're not.

Now go deliver some mail.:D

They were considered a test until we clobbered them....suddenly the national press finds them inferior.....I find that amusing.

They're 3-5! Who hasn't beat em?!

You all are the Texas tech of the NFL. You declare dominance after beating up cupcakes.

neither team has really played anyone. The Cowboys played the Pats and lost.

I do see the Boys winning by about 14 though. I like the Giants, I just dont see them beating THIS Cowboy team.
