View Full Version : This is what elprezidente wants to happen
from what i understand
i want OU to win out
KU to lose to Mizzou
Mizzou to lose to Tceh
and texas to win out
all of this (i know, very farfetched) could bring texas to a cotton bowl or even a BCS bowl birth.
it's all about the $$$$$$$ during bowl season so that's the only reason i want OU to win out.
From a pure entertainment standpoint I would rather see Kansas win out and be pit against OSU for battle of "who doesn't deserve to be here."

if KU wins out i think they DO deserve to be there considering they'll of beat okie lite, mobilhoma, mizzou ect.
now tOSU....... :puke

Yeah if they do beat OU and Mizzou I would be forced to give them my nod of approval.
The easiest road for Texas to get into a BCS game is just to win out. 6 of the current 14 teams ranked ahead of Texas HAVE to lose another game because they play each other. Texas will be in the top 12 and be eligible for a BCS game as long as they win their next two games, thats it. Getting chosen is the hard part but we all know if $$ is the issue Texas has a higher chance then other teams... pathetic I know but that is the sad state of the BCS.
Another road would be OU losing their next two games which would put Texas into the Big XII championship. I don't see this happening.

tech won't play Mizzou again this year( thank you!)
other than that, i'd say a Red raider win in Austin would be a great way to reclaim the overachievement of our season by our young lads in Scarlet and Black.

My brother-in-law and sister are both TT grads. He's quite passionate about the team, calls me every week for my 2 cents. I keep trying to remind him that y'all were suppossed to be dooooooooooooooooown this year. The last 2 weeks have been tough but the season, as a whole, has been quite positive.
