Oregon is more deserving of the #2 spot after thrashing ASU than LSU who barely scraped out a win against 'Bama in my opinion.
Oh and by the way has there ever been a #1 so undeserving than the sh** heavers currently up there? Please football gods grant them a loss.

Actually Ohio State has beaten Ranked Teams. Purdue, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Washington were all ranked when Ohio State played them.

Who cares if they were ranked when they played them? Washington is 3-6 right now but was somehow ranked when OSU played them. It is "cummulative strength of schedule" and so far OSU's opponents are under .500 which is absolutely pathetic.

not jumping on the bash ohio bandwagon, but teams like lsu have been playing tough teams all year Oregon has showed they mean business. Kansas i can't say anything till big 12 championship. OU has shown they are good but again big 12 championship.

Well if this was any other sport where we could decide it with a playoff I would agree and leave them #1 but this isn't and there is no playoff. The design of NCAAF and the BCS is to get the two best teams in the nation against each other in the national championship game and I don't think a team beating up on scrubs for 11 weeks should get the nod over LSU or Oregon. Just my opinion.

Sometimes that doesnt work out...by design LSU is held accountable for Kentucky...

SLCpwns i agree with you...OSU is a team that gets better every week and until LSU or Oregon doesnt have a loss in their record, you can't really say anything
if the most informed coaches in America put them there, that's where they should be.
Until they lose, the buckeyes will be #1. Go Michigan!!! (I'd say that anyway as an ex Wolverine.)

Wrong.
Only Purdue and Penn State were ranked (#23 respectively)

You're right. #21 in the BCS and Harris Interactive. They were NR by the AP and USA Today. I won't take the BCS seriously. AP and USA outnumber the Harris so I will say Wisconsin was NR

If Ohio State goes into the Big House and beats Michigan, a school that has wrecked many a Buckeye perfect season, then they'll be deemed to be deserving, and then some one-loss team will get shafted (be it LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma, Kansas or Mizzou).
Obviously, I think if LSU gets through the SEC Championship Game without another loss, they are the most likely matchup, and LSU's overall team speed would absolutely MURDER Ohio State. It would be like LSU beating ND last year, or Florida manhandling the Buckeyes. Ohio State will have no answer for LSU's speed, plus the Bucks will be sitting on their arses for 51 days waiting around for this game which will be played in ................ where's it gonna be????...uhhhhhhh............oh, yeah....... LOUISIANA!.
I would of course rather see Michigan win so a more exciting matchup, Heisman Trophy Winner Dennis Dixon and Oregon versus LSU. That would be fun to watch. Too bad the BCS probably can't give it to us.

I speak for the majority of college football fans when I say "I bow down to you thy divine football gods and pray for an Ohio State loss." I would that even OSU funs would want this to happen so they don't have to lose big two years in a row. You know if they do they will get absolutely no poll respect no matter how good their team actually is next year.

I'm actually kind of hoping that Ohio State wins out and plays LSU/Oregon that way it won't be within 3 touchdowns and we can finally all agree that the Big 10 sucks this year.
