every week it is something different with him. He just looks for ways to say he hates SLC without actually saying it and now it is getting really annoying.

how do you rank an 8 team district. Each team has 3 games against another district and the rest of the time they beat up on each other. Ranking an 8 team district is just as bad as a poll

I'm glad no one trashes Katy because of our weak schedule. Ours might be weaker than SLC's. It's tough being ranked number one. Just make it to the playoffs and see what happens. You can't judge a team by it's strength of schedule. My biggest worries of having a weak schedule is the team losing intensity or focus. The starters are only playing 1st, 2nd and first series of 3rd quarters. Will they have stamina to go 4 quarters? I'm not used to this years Tigers. I'm used to them starting slow and improving each game until they peak at playoff time. This year is like 2000 except they look even better. So far their only adversity or challenge is having a game cancelled due to Rita.

NS has had to live with this type of schedule ridicule but the truth comes out in the playoffs. You either have it or you don't. SLC should be winning every game like they did this week. Lotsa points and hold the opponent to 7 or less.

Besides Euless Trinity, I really don't think any other district you put them in up here in Dallas would stand a chance against them. I just do not get it why people have to start finding excuses as to why a team makes the playoffs. Good luck SLC, see ya in the playoffs, and probably the championship game as well!!!

Strength of schedule may not be as strong as last year but I will guarantee you this, we get everyone's best shot. Most have played us pretty well in the first quarter & then it crumbles for them. They all want to be the one that ends the streak!! Believe it or not, one day it will end.

yes, but what do the numbers mean? Why didn't he show how weak his opponents are? Anyone can post a list with a bunch of numbers next to it. If he does not provide a source then all of his posting has no merit. If he got the numbers from some computer rating service then they also have no merit. If the numbers are from somebody's opinion then they have no merit. Basically he just wants to say his team is better than SLC, but is afraid to say it, so he keeps trying to find a different way to put them down. Last week he was saying that they run up the score and don't pull the starters. This week it is some sort of strength of schedule argument. Next week I think he is going to bring up something about the uniforms. The week after that he is going to claim that Carroll does not deserve respect because their band stays on the field too long at halftime. The next week he will say that Carroll only wins because they don't have to travel far in district. The next week it will be that Carroll's coaches have too big of a chalk board for halftime adjustments which gives them an unfair advantage. The next week it will be that Carroll's Drill Team is too big. The next week it will be that Carroll has too many supporters and if they ever play at a big venue the crowd noise factor will not be there. I can't think of any other excuse that he will make, but I am sure that he will find more.

Rich Pack...put them in the district with Longview, Mesquite, Tyler JT, Tyler Lee, Rockwall North mesquite and horn....and i'd bet they would get a good game out of 2 or 3 of those teams...so just dont say that euless trinity is the only dallas district teamt hat coudl hang with SLC

the carroll team always plays on the safeturf and thus has fewer injuries than teams that play on real grass, or wavy turf(did lview get that fixed?) or old-style astroturf. slc gets more publicity due to their rich newspaper buying supporters, who also advertise more.
