North Shore fans

Thanks a bunch for the help at making Stony Point a respectable/playoff team possibly. You've ruined our district ;) . After yall won the championship in 2003 the defensive coordinator went to Stony Point. I forget his name, but Stony Point has always had the athletes and he is making them believe that they could win. Stony Point is coming off of a 22 game losing streak and they lost 29 of their last 30, and he has gotten them two wins in a row over some playoff contenders in 15-5a (Cedar Park, and RR Westwood). Not only have you ruined our district by not being able to chalk up a 40 point victory against these guys, but you've got me a little worried about week 8 when we play them at their place :p . Naw i'm not too worried, but this is just one of those things that you have to look back and say wow, because Stony Point just doesnt win against ANYBODY and they've beaten a decent Cedar Park team, and a decent RR Westwood team.

Yeah i hope your happy. I hope your satisfied. How does it feel to ruin a district. No more complete walk through games, you just had to make our celler team respectable. Congrats lol :p ;) .

Chesser is a great coach. I hated to see him leave Shore. I wondered what school he went to. He coached that great '03 defense.

Glad we could help you guys out. :D Coach Chesser is indeed a great defensive mind. Not that North Shore had never had a good defense or good cordinators, it just seemed that he took what was already there and turned it up a few more notches. I reall wonder had he stuck around would we have had the meltdowns we did at the end of last season.

You are correct that Coach Chesser did a great job but I will tell you that Coach Kay ( current DC ) works as hard as any coach I have ever seen. Those guys were prepared as well as anybody could have done. Last years meltdown occured on both sides of the ball and it was non prejudiced. I mean everybody stunk it up. What I believe about that game is if you know about the schools feeding NS, ie. Cunningham, they RARELY lose a game. Most of those guys on the team last year had never lost a game. Once they fell behind that was a feeling they rarely have had to experience, then the ball starting really bouncing Westfields way and it was like a river that is out of control. It got worse and worse, in other words we got what we have done to so many. Westfield played a nearly flawless game coupled with the fact that they are a very talented led to disaster. I promise the defense is well coached as it was with Craig. This years matchup with SW, will be amazing provided NS disposes of the Oilers in the first round.

You make me feel a lot better about going into the playoffs. Last year, NS did a good job of disposing of everyone including TWHS and lulled me into a false
sense of security. This year, the TWHS game was close, coupled with the WF loss last year will not catch me napping. I want Shore to win and win honestly.
It appears they have the D to go deep in the playoffs but I'm very skeptical about the offense.

Statman I know what kind of hard worker Coach Kay is from watching him a few years ago as my little brothers Freshman coach. What amazes me is that as great of a defensive mind as he is he's also a great offensive mind. That right there is not something you find in very many coaches. As for last years team i knew we had alot of young guys not to mentionthey had the burden of havign an even bigger target than before on their backs. As you said that Westfield game was a major meltdown by the entire team.
