O.K. Pack fans, I'm gonna try and make your game with Klein(?) Saturday evening. I wanna see some Lufkin D. I don't own any purple wear and I'm definitely not wearing my red Tiger shirt with ktcarl emblazoned on the back. How do I get to meet some of my fellow posters from Lufkinland?

KTcarl, we play Wednesday night the 12th @ Klein, not on Saturday. Rita schedule change.

Will that cut down the Lufkin crowd size? Plus, is that enough time for the team to be ready to play and the have to travel down the burbs of HTown?
This game might be interesting. I presume the starting time is 7pm. If I make it I'll be wearing either my Katy Tigers cap or Astros cap!!

"have to work the next day" LMAO! That is great stuff. Load up the truck boys, it's a road trip.

Not sure if that was another Houston tool being sarcastic or what?? I guess when you destroy Houston area teams as much as Lufkin has done recently in football you are going to have jealousy!! I think they call it being a hater in your neck of the woods?? ;)

Don't worry about it. You're being a responsible adult. If I walked into work and said "Sorry guys...I am going to operate on someone with only 3 hours of sleep under my belt after a previous day packed full of cases because, hey, I had to go to a high school football game..." Hahaha....I'd be under some serious review.

Well i am not a surgeon so i think i will be ok?? Is that what you are saying you are?? A surgeon?? Surgeons sometimes go 30 plus hrs doing a single surgery so i think they could handle getting 5 hours a sleep after going to a game. LOL

30 hours??? HA! Not sure I've done a surgery anywhere near 30 hours. But, as far as running on minimal sleep, I do it all the time. But, if I was looking at a long road trip to a football game and then having to be at work at 6 am, I'd choose sleep.

Like i said i am not a surgeon and i do not have to be at work until 8. I will be fine if i go!! I guess i should have said brain surgery and other more complex surgery can go that long or longer. If you are a surgeon i am scared!! ;)

Technically, this is not a long road trip for Lufkin, we are use to the travel. The difference is the game is in the middle of the week, so our fan base will be affected I am sure. I think it will affect the Klein crowd as well. I did the smart thing and took 1/2 day PTO for Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning to get my sleep. Not going to miss a Panther game.

I wouldn't be too concerned, I'm pretty dern good if I say so myself. As much as I enjoy being in SA, I'd like to move back to Longview. Call me a homer, but I'd love for my boy to play some Lobo ball.

You are correct!! The road trip is no big deal we are beyond used to them. It is the middle of the week part that is tough. OH well i will live. I am sure i can come in late if i am too tired. LOL

Beaumont is even further away than the Woodlands. Humble might be also. At least you'll get a game from Humble.
