two goal line stands in the 4th qtr.by the trojans, was the most exciteing part of this game,
the score doesnt indicate it but GP, played a good game, they left nothing
in the playbook, onside kicks, fake punts, going for it on 4th down from their
on 30 yd line in the 1st. qtr. they did it all.......trinity's 3rd shutout in the
last 5 games, and still have only given 67 points total as a team, in 8 games

I was impressed with how hard GP fought during the whole game.

Chinese water torture is more pleasurable than watching that first half.
Let the play clock run down to 1 second, hand off take 10 seconds to unpile the bodies. Take another 5 seconds to reset play clock. Repeat this over and over and over. The first half took about 35 minutes to play.

Grand Prarie coaches made a decision to not get beat really bad. I guess they never thought about actually going for a win. I know the odds were against it, but what kind of message does that send your players.

nice win...i think you guys should be #4 right behind permian....3 shutouts, and if yuo take out the one loss, you're only allowing 5.2 ppg

GP played a good game. Very gutsy, let er rip approach. However, that milking the play clock until the last possible second every single play just about made me want to go take a nap. I know why they were doing it; I'm just saying that as a fan it was unbelievably boring. Another great job by the defense even though I felt that GP's delaying tactics kept them out of rhythm all night. Next: Irving High.

Why didn't the GP coaches go for a couple of field goals instead of going for it on 4th down and being stopped? I just don't understand that. At least GP would have some points on the board. Great goal line defense by Trinity.

Congrats on the shutout!

Points are points ... but field goals just for the sake of not being shutout are kinda lame in my opinion.

Congrats to ET on another big win. It seems that our paths are inevitably going to cross again in a little over a month. I look forward to it. Good luck the rest of the way.

The goal line stands were even more impressive because we had some of the backups in on both of them. Both were great stands by the defense.

I agree that it was boring and the point must have been to keep the ball away from our offense. Problem for them was they continued milking the clock when it was 31-0 late in the 4th. Not sure that is a good strategy to teach your team ...play not to lose big.
