I am sick of hearing about how a decent player is the greatest that has ever stepped on the field. Sanders might be the best safety in the league today, but he's a 1 time Pro Bowler, right? Give the dude time to build something before annointing him as Ronnie Lott...:mad:

Kornheiser aka. "cornhole" sucks! He needs to go he's just as bad as Theismann was. They should just make themselves smarter and put Wilbon in the booth.

I might be wrong because I was only half paying attention but I thought Tony was making fun of the fact that Bob Sanders is talked about so much. How everybody makes him out to be a "Chuck Norris can do anything" figure, at least that's what I heard early in the game. He was asking Jaws if he really makes that much of a difference.

Bob Sanders=Iowa Hawkeye as is Dallas Clark! ;) He is amazing and is just a play maker and a monster hitter. He will be on many more pro bowl teams if he stays healthy no doubt.

Yes Tony was making fun of Jaws when saying that. But Tony cornhole is the most annoying announcer ever either way.

true enough, but the body of work is not quite there to substantiate legendary status. Heck even Roy Williams looked good early.:eek:

Sanders blows out Roy Williams IMO. The guy can play great against the run and the PASS! No he does not deserve legendary status this early in his career but I think many announcers like Madden, Jaws etc etc make such a big thing about him because the Colts are a completely different team when he is out there and the stats prove it. He is what makes that defense go and is the key. Kind of like Polamalu for my Steelers. Those 2 are the by far the best safetys in the league right now IMO.
