i think out of all of his teams, Windthorst is the only one that won.
That's like going 1 for 98.
Even Adam Everett hits more often than that!

lonny got depressed and donned his tinfoil hat while microwaving popcorn. Somewhere in Wichita Falls a grown man is drooling while lying in a puddle of his own urine as popcorn continues to burn in the microwave.

I'm sure it was the guys in the black helicoptors that did it to him...
(or a Big XII officiating crew):D

Will be interesting to see Lonny's breakdown of Tech's total annihilation.

I wasn't in Columbia. That was 1 of the only 2 games I won't go to this year. Way back there, I penciled in the Mizzou game to see my relatives and kids. I'm gone every weekend for 4 months, so I have to give up 1 game in September for my daughter's birthday and one of those Big 12 North road games in October to see my parents since both of their birthdays are in October. I'm going back to San Antonio in 2 weeks, but all I'll do is go to Waco for the Baylor game, stay in San Antonio for the week, and go back to Austin the next Saturday.
Because I was in San Antonio, I coudn't post on the internet until I got back to work this morning. You'll get my opinion of the game in one of these threads since I watched it on TV.

if it doesn't start and end with "we got pwned" it won't be accurate.

Devastated over the Mizzou loss.
You guys don't know how to read me.
I might be devastated by a loss like Joe Montana at Notre Dame vs. Houston or the 49ers-Cowboys game in the NFC Championship Game in 1982 or the NC State-Houston game in 1983.
I wanted to spit nails at the calls in the 2006 NBA Finals and the Tech-Texas game last year. If I think something is a ripoff, I'm just mad.
There are games like Tech-Oklahoma last year and I hate to see the loss, but I know the team gave their best and just wasn't good enough. That's not devastating.
There are games like the Tech-OSU game this year where I'm mad at a putrid defense and want heads to roll. Thankfully Lyle got fired the next day.
What I'm going to say about the Mizzou game is not what I said on Tech's Rivals site because I read some comments. My first impression of the game was that Tech didn't come ready to play. They couldn't catch and they sure didn't block. Mizzou knew exactly what Tech was doing. I was mad as a hornet watching that game and asking why they didn't take it serious. Leach didn't come unglued after the game. He didn't call them front-runners or out for reading press clippings (That sure enough was what I thought had happened). He expressed confidence in the team and said they have great chemistry. I guess they were just too jacked to play, came out too tight, and never executed. For the first time this year, maybe the youth in most positions came back to haunt Tech. I haven't said anything about Tech having a bunch of young guys, but in this game it just looks like they choked when adversity came their way. It was a total team meltdown. Credit goes to Mizzou for playing a great game.
