Just had to post. Cougars 49 - Blazers 10.
Anthony Alridge - 17 carries/ 111 Yards. 1 rush TD 1 rec TD
Starters only played a few minutes into the 3rd quarter. We got a glimpse of the future in redshirt freshman running back Andre Kohn.
Andre Kohn - 13 carries/ 78 yards. 1 rush TD
TEAM TOTAL YDS RUSHING PASSING DEFENSE
Houston 560 355 205 213
UAB 213 15 198 560
Looks like our run defense played pretty well.
Thoughts?

Keenum has been very good this year. I watched him in high school and was glad that he got a 1A ship, but I didn't know he would be doing this well.

I love watching UH play. I just wish I could make it to more games. And I wish the parking at Robertson Stadium was better, too.

I guess the same day travel to UAB didn't hurt the Cougars after all. How did they do on turnovers tonight?

If they had any, it doesn't look like they hurt any, either, LOL.

Was always a UH fan when I was kid since Delrick and Elrick Brown from Lufkin went there in the late 70's. They tore up the SWC the first 5 or 6 years they were there.

Keenum and Joseph both played well tonight.
Keenum has been very good this year, but he has trouble with the long ball and forces the ball too often, causing several um... silly picks...
Joseph throws a better deep ball, but freaks out when he feels any pressure and does stupid things.
Either way, in a game with no turnovers, we finally got to see what UH is capable of doing.
UAB was seriously overmatched. We looked very good against them. I think there was one fumble but it was over in the second quarter.
