-Grapevines Offense continues to improve every week. Hey, i know it was against Central, but 62 pts is 62 pts!
-Logan Mullins had 2 TD's which puts him at 9 for the past 3 games.
-Matt Harbin had another great game going 17-24/ 324 yds/3tds.
-This was Grapevine 2nd game in a row without a turnover, which is something they were struggling a lot with earlier in the year.
-Even with the Offense tearing it up, it was just as bad seeing the Defense play so poorly. Central hit the medium routes all night and scored all their pts. agaisnt Grapevines #1 defense.
-Grapevines Special teams were very good once again. Blocking 2 extra pts, having great coverage on kickoffs and having 3 good returns.

I've noticed in the last few games that the scores are always relatively close at HT, and then in the 2nd half it's like you guys come out on fiya....who's giving the pep talks and what are those boys taking??? :D kidding, but seroiusly why do you think it takes two quarters to get the offense rolling, and how do you think they'd react to being down 28+ going into the half?

Im not sure why they start so slow, but i will say this, our offense didnt start slow last night they scored 9 out of 10 poss. It was the defenses inability to stop Central that kept the game close in the first half. I mean Grapevine only ran one play in the 1st qt. and that was a 65 yd. screenpass for a TD. Once the defense got a few stops the Offense put it away.
We will have to see bout being down by 28........

We'll see y'all soon. Leave the sluggish starts in the closet, though. I haven't crunched the exact numbers but Carroll is sitting on about 106 first half points the last two weeeks. Scored in about 7 minutes of possesion.:D

The Dragons may actually have a competitive District Game against Grapevine - should be a good game - on the televison as well.

Nov 1 could be a high scoring game.

It should def be interesting...SHOULD be much more competetive than the rest of these "games"...then again by Nov 1 the team should peak and most of the starters who are coming back, should be back, so it could also turn into yet another rout...Grapevine's d is highly suspect, and with our offense, I don't see it being "competitive" per se...as much as I hate giving up 24 - 45 points...I don't see Grapevine stopping carroll from putting up 60+ soooooo who knows.

all i know is that it should be a lot better than last years game.
Ya, Grapevines defense is struggling right now. Central didnt even try to run last night and Grapevine still couldnt even slow down the pass.

They're not the only team that had trouble with that...I'm pretty sure Central's QB is second only to Riley in passing yards in the area...they gave our secondary fits as well.
Hopefully since the game is televised the game will be more competitive than last year!

Dustin Senta is his name. He is 33 of 46 for 290 yds vs GV, 28 of 42 for 357 yds vs SLC. Season total is 150-249-7 for 1845 yds so far. He is 4rth in DMN area with Riley being 3rd. They ran a very methodical offensive scheme.
