I've been down here a few years and I think this is one of the weaker SV teams. They'll get it together over these next few games though.

I was born here...parents both from out of state. But I've moved and traveled across the world and I like San Antonio the best....nothing like your hometown.

Hey, Ike, we know where your from & what you are still trying to obtain--a state championship. And what is Ike's record against Region IV schools in the semifinals? Maybe one victory. I do know of 4, count 'em FOUR losses against a team that you had a lot more talent, but always came in behind. You may want Judson one more time, shoot, the odds are in your favor big time to come close or even win.

Don't come here and take away from SV's victory and good season. They have been to the dance more times than Ike and with less talent.

SV congrats & keep on winning. Rocket fans should be cheering for you from here on out.

Aldine Eisenhower? I think thats what Ike is, but I'm not sure. SV has a very good team, and those "sorry country boys" are one of the best teams in the state. That loss to Churchill was just a fluke.

Isn't Tyler Lee 2-4 and 0-2? Doesn't mean that Lee is a horrible team. I still think that if they get their stuff together, they can still make the playoffs. Judson is pretty good...thinks just haven't been going completely their way.

You did it for me -- I was going to make a Tyler Lee comparison because traditionally they are also very good -- at least for the past 10 years. This years team hasn't jelled yet. They have a lot of talent in a lot of positions, but have lost at least two games that in my opinion, they should have won. Thus the name -- team! I haven't seen Judson play yet, but looking at their record, and i'm not sure who they've beaten in the 3 wins, but it's not looking much better. Lee did win state w/3 losses last year, but they were early in the year with many injuries and only one(against Longview in OT) was a district loss.

They played SLC better than anyone in the state, and almost beat them. However if you want to count them out because they didnt beat Mc by 50 go ahead. They won.

i think the comback started when their throwing QB (they had a better thrower #12 and a better runner #8) got practically murderd on the field. SV was rolling at 21-0 when he got hurt and there was about a 20 min time out which took away all of SV's momentim. they came back out ofter the T.O. and Mac started rolling.
