I can't get the brackets to completely load. Is it better viewed with Explorer? (I use Mozilla Firefox)

Same. Everything but the lines load.

It's a Firefox thing. In IE all of the lines load. I don't know why.

I have Firefox as well. Sometimes, a couple of refreshes gets the lines to appear. As champ said, IE displays the lines.

Are you kidding? Everyone thinks IMAC is going to the playoffs. They are projected to be second in district 7-5A. Look at the projected playoff brackets, the link is on the home page. They just aren't ranked in the state top 25 because they haven't beaten anyone notable yet. L.D. Bell is good, but they aren't a good enough defeat to jump you guys into the top 25 just yet. A close game or a win against Trinity will definitely get IMAC in there for sure.

Yeah last season was a rebuilding year for you guys. It really threw me for a loop to see ya'll do so badly after going 9-1 in a 3 way tie for the district title with us and Trinity. That 3-0 game still haunts my dreams...:cry.

I got Firefox it loaded good today but other days I need to refresh it. Gosh I hate firefox but I noticed for the most part region 4 looks the same.

i wouldnt say inevitable...what is inevitable is another West Brook vs. Cy Falls matchup for the second year in a row...i hope yall are ready for us this year it wont be any kind of blow out

however...if the winner of that game goes on to play Katy i would be worried for the tigers...both teams play the spread...katy better learn how to defend that better quick

Quite frankly, that match up scares me. I don't think it's the SPREAD that gives them trouble....it's WHO'S Running the spread...They made too many mistakes against Hastings and the Bears capitalized. The defense held when it counted in the redzone(6 times, 13 points), it's the offense that had an off night.

I saw that Carter would play North Mesquite and possibly Allen in the second round if we were lucky enuff to get past NM in the first. I would rather not see us get slaughtered!!!

21-5A: I realize PAMemorial is 2-1, but they still have Humble, Lee, and West Brook to play. Because of the schedule, I think Kingwood or Channelview have just as good a shot as Memorial.

qualifier: Both will have to play some very good opponents along the way. Not saying this will happen.

am I safe in assuming the order in which the teams are listed under the district heading on the main bracket page is the order you see the district standings?? I have a hard time seeing tWHS finishing the season ahead of conroe in 15-5a..

It happened once in 2002. That was one of the two years that we played everyone in district two times. We ended up winning both district games and then once more in the playoffs. If we meet Longview again in the playoffs it will be another classic East Texas battle that could go either way. There will be no three-peats this year since Lufkin and Longview have split the first two games. Obviously there is no guarantee that either of us will make it out of the first round of the playoffs. This has been a crazy football season from the college level on down to the high school level. Anything can happen. We will just see how the season unfolds.

We might play Cedar Hill in round 2. Of course alot has to happen. We must make the playoffs first and then win a round 1 matchup vs FM Marcus.

I'm curious if anybody looked at the district rank of the schools who made the playoffs last year. I was wondering if anybody did the numbers on which division ended up with more 1st and 2nd placed teams and which one ended up with more 3rd and 4th placed finishers.

Would be interesting to make the comparison this year.

Based on the week 7 stuff, I'd say 13/14 match-ups should be fun to watch.

Temple/Pflugerville would be a good game. Not a lock for P-ville.

Leander/Ellison goes to Leander

Consol and (which team? the braket doesn't agree with the standing) but I think Consol has a good shot of winning. We faced the #4 team last year and that team beat us and Lufkin! So, no gimmes.

Bryan/Cedar Park is another flip-em for me.

I do predict there will not be a clean sweep for 14-5A this year.
