He's a faster Darren Sproles. He must see more touches.

woods is the player of the game. I don't understand why people always down him. He does a good job.

Lewis is fine, but not as elusive as woods, as in, no broken tackles- yet!:D

I never downed Woods. He is playing very well. I'm just saying that Kobey gives you the bigger "big play" potential.

Title of the thread says what?

Says that I think Lewis is better than Woods. I also think Tom Brady > Peyton Manning, but that in no way means Peyton sucks in any way. Just means I like one over the other.

If he was better, then why doesn't he get more touches than woods?

He doesn't break tackles like woods, from what I've seen. That would be the biggest difference for me.

He picks up more yards before first contact is ever made. I think he's more elusive which negates what he lacks in tackle-breaking strength. I'm not saying they should bench Woods. I just think the offense would benefit even more if Lewis touched the ball more.

Woods has been great. He does exactly what this offense needs from the RB position.

It has frustrated me that folks have a tendency to think Woods isn't getting it done.

What else could the guy do tonight?(serious)

Man,

I get tired of this banter. Tech throws the ball so nobody will run much unless Leach is goofing off like today.

I like Lewis' elusiveness, but he's not a 4 down back. Woods is stronger. Both need to play. The young guys and guys coming in might take the job, anyway.

If Lewis was better for Tech, he would play more.

I see you're ready for Halloween. That's about as scary of a post as we see around these parts!

I never said he shouldn't see the field. get your black and gold glasses unfogged and be objective. I never said he shouldn't play. i just asked how you could say he was better than Woods, as indicated by the thread title.

I agree with you that they need to find a way to get Leiws the ball more, but Woods is getting the job done as well.

we will find out how good Tech offense is when ever they play OU, and Texas. Personally I believe Tech will loose both of those games, but we will see just how good Crabtree and Harrell really are.

Uh, Sproles is one of the fastest players in the NFL right now.

If you're in Abilene, he's still faster. unfortunately, ACU wouldn't play a home-and-home series with Tech...

We threw for 500 on Texas last year. Our offense will be fine!:D

Not by a long shot. Fast... yeah, but he's not even top 20.

Tech will certainly loose to OU and Texas. I hope they beat OU but it wont be likely.
