If Mesquite Horn was to make the play-offs along with Longview and JT that would send Longview to Div. 1 this year. Imagine the nightmare the LOBOS would be stuck in if they were to run the board all the way to the Div. 1 title and then Lufkin did the same in Div. 2. The LOBOS would finish their year undefeated and dominant only to listen to everyone in the state tell them that they still didn't beat Lufkin. The possibility exists for a perfect season and still no respect.

Of course this is only one of a 1000 scenarios that could play out between now and the end of the season. Just some food for thought.

I'll give you 1000-1 Odds and bet you $1 that that won't happen
Actually I won't, because there would be absolutely nothing in it for me, but it just isn't gonna happen.

And the road goes through Trinity again this year. Let's just say that D1 and D2 are fairly equal, depending on how the rest of the season plays out. It wasn't like last year. D1 was pretty weak last year with the exception of Westfield.
