There are a few teams that are below .500 around Texas, that have played a tough scduale or lost a couple of close games, to make them below .500...

what are the top teams that are below .500

I would say Coppell...They've played three 5-0 teams, a very good Duncanville team, at The Jungle, and a decent Jesuit team...Coppell is currently 2-4..

Other teams making my list...

LD Bell 2-3? and Irving Nimitz 3-3

Pflugerville is really good. They might be at .500 however.

Pville is 3-2, and if they were under .500 they would be the best team.

The Kimball loss was in OT as well.

I didnt know if they were 2-2 or better, they are still a great team. If they could hold onto the ball they would be 5-0.

Pville is 3-2, and if they were under .500 they would be the best team.

I'd nominate Waco for this list.

I would have to put in my Humble team (before they played on Friday). Wildcats have just played so many good teams and for at least most of the game have stayed in it.

Hastings-won
Katy-lost
"The" Woodlands- lost

Katy and woodlands are two really good teams. I know that both teams will compete for state championship and not a whole lot of teams can say they have faced two in one season.

Not sure about the overall record, but I think Mesquite is one also.

Mesquite is 4-3...but I still wouldn't consider them that good if they were under .500.

Losing to Longview 48-0 and John Tyler 42-6...AT HOME? I dont think so.
