i watched norths shore freshman a team take on dobie freshman a team yesterday.i almost didn't go and now i am glad i did although i knew the outcome before the game started i was surprised by one of dobie's players.this little giant had tp be one of the smallest players i've ever seen a whopping 5'2 or 5'3 around 85 - 90 lbs and shut down one of our best wr this boy played corner, safety, and surprisingly he was also dobie's deep snapper on ol this boy showed more heart then anybody on the field. i don't have a name to go with the player but his number is 11.dobie fans should be proud of this young man as should his parents.

Yep. Those little guys can play hard.

In my son's Freshman year last year they had the same type of kid. Little bitty squirt who played running back on the B team. That dude was tougher than woodpecker lips. Broke his leg in the first game of the season real bad. However, while he was on the stretcher heading to the ambulance, he sent his mother to the side line to tell his team mates to kick the snot out of the other team. All heart.

My son says the little dude is starting on the sophomore team this year.

Things couldn't be better here in Da Sho Stang. By the way Parent, how'd like NS tb & fb. They both should be on the varsity next year. They had some tough battles against each other last year and now they're really good friends. They really learned how to play well together on both sides of the ball. Look for them to make some noise next year.

Things look a lot different there than when I was cruising the WF Blvd. Nice new stadium. It was about time they took a bulldozer to Dement Field. lol It needed when I went to school there 20 yrs. ago. BTW...Good looking new campus now too. :)

Ive said this about 10 times on this site. There are some good freshmen out there. The year 2009 should be pretty entertaining...My boy from Ranchview didnt have that good of game after being thrown out early in the first...but hes shown heart all through out the season. He just needs to keep his head into the game and not on talking back to refs. (I hope your seeing this kid), It desapointed me to hear about this I know hes a good kid.

But in the when kids get kicked out of a game, coachs look for that, they say "Hey go tick this great athlete off and we will get him thrown out of the game and he wont be a factor"
