Lemon cheesecake with a raspberry filling. Only instead of baking it in a pie pan with a grahm cracker crust, she baked her own oatmeal crust in a casserole dish, topped it with the cheesecake, and then cut it up into squares.

You have not lived until you've eaten them.

She can make strawberry ones as well. Don't even try to pretend that you don't like cheesecake. I know better.

Pretty sure you've got a nice male to female ratio in those classes, i wouldn't rule you as a panzy there. That's just smart.

Firebird, can you please ask your wife if Piroshky is really Russian food? I had some in Seattle. Dang, it's good. It's a pastry filled with different things. Being from Texas, I of course ordered the beef.

Yes. They're also delicious. She actually has had to cut back on the desserts so that I don't end up as ktCarl suggested. She likes to cook Russian and American food, so I end up winning both ways.

You can fill 'em with lots of different things. Meat and vegetable pirozhky are meals in and of themselves. (I like potato and cabbage...sounds bad but is oh so good). They go well with vodka. For dessert you can get fruit filled ones. My all-time favorite is filled with tvorog (kind of a cross between cottage cheese and cream chees) and rasins. I could eat about a dozen with a cold glass of milk.

if you could get corona draft, or in brown bottles, it might be accepable. any beer in a clear bottle runs the risk of being skunky due to exposure to light, esp sun and flourescent. corona is regularly and terrifically skunky. any beer that you quit drinking because you are out of limes, is bad(or skunky) beer.
